APBT And Ambully

    Good efforts here. I do have some suggestions that may help you along. Try to vary your lines throughout your drawing. A consistent-heavy line can sometimes make your drawing appear flat and extremely rough; utilize shading to create soft edges and create depth! Also, I would pick up a book on animal anatomy and foreshortening to help you along with paws and limbs further away from the viewer. George Brigman has one or two on just foreshortening I think. Again, good stuff and keep drawing!

    Forgot to mention the two drawings are mine and are some examples of relying on shading to create "implied lines" and soft edges. The first one is a reaching side view of an APBT that I started after viewing your post. The second I did a few years ago as an exercise.
