Anything About California Jack

Can anyone in this forum tell me anything about California Jack? Is he still around? Does he still breed or where I might find pure dogs that have been preserved from him? Or anything about the Hollingsworth line of dogs. How bout Vise Grip Kennels are they still around?

he does still breed and does have some dogs for sale...if you cant answer his ?'s or he doesnt like you, he will tell you, and you WILL NOT get one of his dogs.

search the internet, lots of info. some like the man, others loathe him.

I herad some good and some bad about him.I don't know.But I would like too get some info myself.His website doesn't work anymore.Emailed him before and got no reply.I really want to know about Stormbringer and what's the deal about him curring out.Not sure if I should be asking questions like that or not.Correct me if need be moderators, and if this is inappropriate I appologize.

I would try his stuff if I knew someone who ran it. One line is as good as any in the right hands. is there any proof to all the rumor's around CJ? anyone on here delt with him in the past? better yet anyone know the man I just went to his site for the first time and he has some nice dogs on paper. His ''otis jr'' dog is top notch I would get somthing off that any day.

 

yes Jack is still around. he occasionally has a dog for sale but he will not sell to someone who is not competent with dogs & cannot give the dog a good home. this means most people, and believe me he will know right off the bat if someone is capable of taking care of one of his dogs the way he wants them to. if you are interested in learning more about the Hollingsworth line of dogs he has a book available.

Ca jack is a joke. people can say what they want but we know him personly and i dont like him. its not the fact that he thinks he knows i all, but the fact that he lets his dogs suffer with babesia and dont do the right thing and put them down. hes to worried about the money. he claims to be a dog man and he has a record of 3L and 1W. the one he won with was going over the wall when he picked him up. so what makes him a dog man the fact that he has been feeding dogs for 20 years. that dont make you a dogman my grandmother feed dogs for 30+ years does that make her a dog women(and they were bulldogs) no. jack is a peddler. the dogs backing his dogs were good dogs BUT his are junk. i would feed poodles before i would one jacks dog.... its not worth the chance you would be taking infesting the rest of your yard. yall feed what you want im just tring to give you some facts about ca jack

 

hmmm, interesting...what I'm finding out...about CA Jack...a lot of it isn't very positive either...and after visiting his website...and reading his policies and requirements on aquiring a dog from his yard...IMHO sounds like a glorified puppy peddler...Im just trying to find out where my best chance of finding pure blood from some of the earlier dogs...As for the Hollingsworth line, I saw the book he was selling...Dont know if a would pay to read it personally...

 

I'm not really inclined to tell you that. But I dont think he would even name a dog otis jr. especially since his main stud dog is silverback. most of his pups have the name silver in them depending also on which bitch he breeds to. but i have no idea where otis jr. would come from.

 

I dont care if you dont like him, in fact he probably doesnt like you either..that is if you really even know him like you claim to. Youre just another person spreading rumors that you have heard but no facts to back it up.

 

Yup 3-4 breedings a year is a puppy peddler alright..especially compared to Tom Garner right? :rolleyes: His policies and requirements are really just to keep the idiots away and so far it seems to be working for him. Anyone who cant read and follow those simple directions; he really will not sell his quality pups to.
