anyone else up late playing with their dogs?

Its currently 3:34 in Texas in the morning. I have trouble sleeping now ever since I became a bit more active in this forum lol. Training a pup to tug with an older bitch. Fun stuff! Who else is working their machines?

 

I don't sleep much not because of a forum tho! But I been up like a hour or two, and nah I'm not playing with the hounds pups sleep tight in the garage in kennels and the big boys outside probably in their holes they dug in the ground they really don't sleep in their houses @night. Considering they dug the holes under thier houses like a cave, Lol!

 

Mine are up now running around the house like bats out of hell. It wouldn't be the same if I didn't hear shit falling over, dogs growling and screaming, and running around knocking into shit. Typical morning for me lol

I forgot, Capo, The one that sleeps inside is in the kitchen and he's quiet until he hears knocking @the door, then he mumbles a growl but other than that he so quiet I forgot to mention him! Lol

 

Put mine away at midnight last night and he was whining to go back out @ 5 this morning....lol. not for the bathroom just to hit his springpole, I just looked at him like seriously??? Had to laugh

 

Lol caught my ankle in one of them holes near my dogs chain spot. Lemme tell ya, that shit made me cover all but one or two holes for his chain spot.. He had so man he got the ground lookin like Swiss cheese haha

 

Lol well Sadie I wish I could say the same. Its been so long since I was able to raise a baby inside. I sneak the pups in every once in awhile for a lil special treatment though for sure lol . How many do you have?

 

lol like a teenager wakin up before his parents trying to gulp down a few cold ones before school.. These dogs really deserve the best with their enthusiasm for whatever they do .

 

Agreed about them deserving the best. As much as a pain in the ass they can be I love them. When I'm having one of those days I just go outside and spend some time with them.

 

LOL - this thread made my almost piss my pants. @ that time of night, mine are sleeping, in their houses. I bite mine if they dig holes in their pens..that was for you capo. Small humor from our previous convos. Just a bit of "humor" with that said, no pun intended...promise..
It is probably cooler(temp wise) in the ground for them where you are! Its so dang cold here that their houses are packes with straw and they are nested in it!

The inside dogs sleepin too. Pup in her crate, and the spoiled rotten brat(white head dog) of mine is sleeping under the bed covers with me, my wife, and one or two lil children. I go to bed and they are in their beds, than wake up falling out off the bed because they kicked me off. LOL.. At that point I usually just go to one of the kids bed or the couch, so I can sleep!

 

Yes. Im out from 10pm-1145pm then me and the pup are back at it from 5am-6am before I head to work. Wife says if I keep it up im going to end up sleeping with him outside! LMAO

 

Yessir since im a night owl myself I do most of my yard work in weee hours of the night ! Flood lamps blazing over my yard I hunt the brown easter eggs (shit) with my rake and shovel . This works out best for me cause the wife and kids are asleep so I have no distractions ! During the morning I feed , let my pups run and walk the ol boys and gyps . Damn I never really noticed how much time I put in to my hounds , its like another job !!! Ctfu , no wonder I have only 2 friends !!!

 

Lol brown Easter eggs. Ima start using that one. Good shit. Ain't no joke about it being another job man, it but it isn't no job I mind. Its a labor of love for sure for all of us. And yeah McCoy, just went out to check on my dogs and there are crystals around the yard from the cold ass weather..

 

Good stuff dirty bump. Brown easter eggs.. I feel you on the time they take. Work than dogs for me. Wish I could do the dogs all day and not have to work. Bills would not be paid though for me.

 

I know right - I dont want to go outside this morning. We are working on a 100x100 roof. Scooping gravel into barrows and than dumping. Repeat repeat repeat. Bout 50 more ton to go, than we can install a new roof. Dang walking the dogs 10 miles sounds so much more relaxing. need more coffee first though!

At 3:30 they're usually asleep unless the coyotes let out a cry when passing by then all hell breaks loose for a few minutes.

 

I dont have coyotes in my neighborhood, but I gotta crackhead who stays messing with my dogs through the fence lol they all hate him.

 

Must be in or close to the country.. Them yotes are thick where we are too.

 

Use to be country. Town is closing in. A lot has changed since moving here in '69. Still secluded enough to play with the dogs.

 

BIGEASY if he was messing with my dogs he would be a crackedhead crackhead. lol
