You shouldn't need supplements if you are feeding a proper dog food. The only way to build more mass is to work the dog. Walking, running, flirtpole, spring pole, swimming, sprints, hills, weight pull, and tug are great exercises. You can't just expect some "miracle" supplement to build muscle on a dog. Even steroids need hard work or they do nothing!

You don’t need any supplements for the pup, remember he’s a pup and not developed yet! Stop feeding Eukanuba, the can food is useless and a waste of money, white rice (?) provides nothing for the pup so stop giving it to him. You have a pup that needs to develop and mature before you start worrying about “bulking” it up. Just continue giving it love and exercise and once matured, worry about “bulking” it up.

A couple things. Mainly, they are supporters of PETA-the group who is trying to make every pitbull extinct. Also, the food is junk. On top of that-the food is junk. Try to locate something with no fillers such as corn and wheat;). Canidae is a great kibble, also chicken soup for the pet lovers soul. Theres a bunch of threads on good dog foods and what makes them good....run a search and you will learn alot. Best of luck!

Eukanuba is fine, don't worry about that. Nowdays you can find great quality dog food. Of course some will prefer a brand over an other. But What is important is to stick with a brand because dogs are not like humans they like sticking with the same food, and it's better for their digestion. Don't try to give your dog raw egg, the white cointains a non digestive enzyme if not well boiled. give him a hard boiled egg instead. Anyway don't give your dog too much supplements cause his food already contains everything he needs. Don't add wet can to dry food. let me explain, pits are tough and he is just testing you. he knows you will give him something different if he doesn't eat his dry food. Here's what to do. Choose a feeding time (I preffer evening cause dogs digest slowly), stick to it, give him his dry food for 20 minutes, no more. If he does eat, take his bowl away, he will eat tomorrow. Don't worry, he won't dye if he doesn't eat one or two days. After some time he will learn to eat his dry food , don't spoil him with the food or he might get health problems.

I never said that you were talking about steroid. I was telling you that the only way to build muscle is through hard work. You can't expect to feed some miracle food and get muscles on a dog.

Euakanuba is crappy food. Do a simple "search" on the board and you will find numerous threads on dog food. Sometimes you need to work a little for the info because a lot of us have answered the same questions hundreds of times.

nothing will bulk a dog up except time and exercise. genetics is where some dogs get more muscular than others. But in general, the true apbt isn't supposed to be big and bulky. they are supposed to be lean and cut. There are many great dog food threads, just do a search. Canidae is an all time fav for a lot of ppl. Chicken soup for the pet lovers soul works great for me. But all dogs are different. good luck either way.

Bronx , just wandering what lines are your dog's, some lines tend to throw bigger dog's than others.

he wont put on muscle like you want until 9-12 months wait till he hits a year then hell blow up. its like being a little kid you dont see to many of them walking around all swoll up. give him some time hell get big when his body starts producing test. he has to hit puberty.

as for the 2 year old i found levees work great to get them big but i live where they are everywhere. try stairs if you have some you can do a little playing on you just have to make sure he doesnt get carried away and take a spill. but a few flights of stairs a day will make you and him a lot bigger.
