thanks,I think you can still work terriers within limits(protecting pheasants etc.).Id not chance digging over there myself though.them brightmore dogs are supposed to be very good-probably not too many about now that are undiluted with other bloodlines.

Hi culabula, yer its red hot to dig here so the smaller harder terriers are being kept close to the chest.Thats why i think the dogs are starting to get bigger cause unless you dig hard you probaly bush,so size aint to important. Its unbelivable, theres more foxs in town than country, estimated 10,000 in London.Theres deer walking around housing estates! The government are calling it the urban menice.I heard theres plenty of sport to be had over your way but see there was a big clamp down a while back?I heard the the Booth dogs are very popular over there?

yeah dublin is the same(used to live there a few years back).Yeah ive not heard much bad said about booth lines>a friend had a few a few years back but they all were nicked by tinkers. There are plenty other good lines about the country-probably off old(eighties) nuttall and gould lines bred worker to worker. The pup im getting in a few weeks is from parents with 19 seasons between them.

Hello there culabula. What a grand pup.Well put together solid looking, like his sire. You know your stuff about lines and times(Nuttall,Gould)eighties,my mate had said dog.I'll try and get picture up? so in Ireland you call travellers 'Tinkers',we call them 'do as you Likeys' for obvious reasons! Great looking dog mate, wish you all the best with him.Keep us updated please.Takecare.

  17. I have a litter now that has nuttall, gould, and mccoy backgrounds. both parents are proven workers and very good mentalities that know how to calm down when you tell them too and know how to work long hours when you take them out.
