when i was in England few years back i visited the place where the dog was born, the place or town I dunno jack the lad has to help me with this.

I want to say more line bred than inbred, there's a a white bitch cant remember the name but she's bred with good amount of jan's boy, my boy was put across her before he came to the US with me and had about 7-8 pups.
there's a brindle bitch posted on here somewhere bred of that blood too

there was a story printed in some book/magazine a few years back about the havoc dog, it was not written by his owner and was full of misinformation and quite misleading.saying that, he may well have been a decent stafford . i am told he was.

1 i have never bred a litter of staffs in my life.
2 i dont know if he breeds or sells pups, he did ask me once about the line and i sent some old pics.
3 The thread was about line bred staffs and hav`nt seen anything else this tight, but as said might be wrong.
no sales pitch as i have not had a bullterrier for years.
    regards,

I like your style lad, i know where your coming from, i know the havoc dog and knew the man who had him, to be honest the dog was a pet and never did much anything else but sure was a handsom devil, i think he was coming from a couple of belters though that were used for digging, now this is years ago so nobody start off on one.
There names were carls pet and karens pet and were supposed to be real devils at work.
As regards to that sparpit stuff i knocked about with one of the two that started that stuff and to be honest what i saw of it, it was sh1te, thats not to say it was all crap.
One i saw getting a write up in a mag was a dog called tyler.
Tyler looked the part but that was it.
Allen sparks started the sparpit dogs with another lad.

its in our hands to be very selective o f what we breed despite the pretty names on the ped. we must do the best we can to keep them true to type, out of the shows and becoming couch potatoes

that tyler dog was well hyped in the mags of the time, supposedly won 2 or 3 , giving up weight and against decent stuff (some never believed it) but when sent to new owners quit in about 13 mins when put in a genuine match.

I had the Tyler dog, he was given to me before he had said matches, but i had an absolute fire cracker of a small show dog, about 33lb called sabre, tyler was quite a bit older than sabre but when the two dogs ever came face two face, Tyler would not look at Sabre,
i gave Tyler back to the man who gave him to me, but just told him it was too much with the two dogs as i was only just getting into them.
Later he was given to the bloke who matched him, i have to be honest, i quite liked the bloke, he was a lot older than me and was blowing Tyler up to me as tyler had just won the first of his matches, he was telling me a normal stafford couldent look a good match dog like Tyler in the eye, well he had tyler with him on the lead and my mate had Sabre just around the bar, so the devil in me said "you know what, i've got Sabre here, shall we let Sabre look at him,(are you starting to see the devil now, are'nt i bad), so what could he say, i bet you can guess what happend, i brought that fire ball round the bar and as soon as he saw Tyler he went absolutely bananas and sure enough Tyler turned away, oh dear!, i made some excuses for Tyler and pulled Sabre away.
The bloke in fairness made a big fuss of sabre and was telling me i should put him out but Sabre was just really a pet.
This was a long time ago and i was a bit of a lad then.

thanks very much aarsbaard, its good to see the rocky dog as well, i always liked rocky, but was a bigger fan of red josh.
Good to see judas and beany to, thats the best pic i've seen of beany.
That TARA bitch of mine was a great looking bitch and more like psycho from what i saw of him and what i was told, but there is no doubt about it i am a dog man, i just think the males are more impressive.
