I went to the SoCal show two years and there were great turnouts. I made a post earlier about how there were two fights during the 2013 show and there hasn't been a show since. I don't know if that's the reason for no shows being held here. Regardless of the reasons, I hope they decide to continue shows in SoCal.

I never heard there was a fight but I only went one day I think it was sat well that sucks dumb asses ruining it for all I can't even understand what you would need to argue about at a dog show But I guess I don't get some people

  9. Shows are fairly easy to organize. You need 2 people for registration, a person as a ring steward and a judge. 1 or 2 folks to help get dogs on deck and you are good. If you want shows, it's simple. Step up to the plate with a friend or two and make it happen. I know the Golden State Pit Bull club is still active. They could use some new blood I'm sure. Check them on Facebook.

...hmm I wouldn't be surprised if one (or both) of those were a 'red nose, blue tail' bulldog (peds-online certified 2×W or 1×w -1×dg) lol...dang them dumb ass owners must of forgotten about Murphy's Law huh.

Why mention the Golden State Pit Bull club if such is so easy to organize????.....your scenario sounds so intimate that you may as well 'keep it real' and roll with it lol.

Well that sucks the clubs are not promoting the breed more .. Even worse is to have one and then have people get into a arguement over something stupid ...like who's dog is bluer

I was there. Don't worry the fight wasn't about any blue dogs that's for sure.

There was however a huge turnout both days for the 2013 SoCal show. So much so, that there were 2 or 3 instances where dogs were allowed to get to close and they hooked up because it was so crowded entering, exiting, and sometimes even showing in the ring. I remember one owner was pissed because his little gyp got her head a little chewed up. The gyp didn't seem to mind though lol. I was really bummed they didn't have one last year. I'll definitely go if they do one this year though.

Like I said, there were huge turnouts both years I went. The one year I missed I heard the turnout was great also. That's why I'm confused why they stopped them.

Yeah same here when they have it I'll be there maybe even show a dog for fun or have my kids show one .. Damn shame to let something as small as a lil skirmish. Amongst dogs slow down the shows .. I believe the last show I was at Hammond was the guest judge . Should of got a picture with the man ... I believe it was in riverside county Very nice dogs that year I might add

I'm not to familiar with the APDR. What do I need to do to show a dog. I also have a second dog with no papers, is there fun shows for dogs without papers?
