Advise on crossing Heavy Snooty dog.

Discussion in 'APBT Bloodlines' started by APBT Kind of Guy, Jan 16, 2020.

  1. Fitst time posting, I own Mile's of Bull's "Rowana" and am planning on breeding her but can't decide what direction to go. She's a heavy bred "Scruffy" dog (Scruffy was a Snooty dog). At the bottom of the page, I put a link to her pedigree for you all to look at. Anyways, i want to keep the bloodline heavy as possible without inbreeding her any further. I currently own a Norrod/Larsan/Castillo cross male but i think i could find a different male to better compliment her. I'm looking for a dog with a heavy bite and weightpulling capabilities to name a few. I'm open to advise from anyone trying to help. Thanks! Gr Ch Pedro blood, nice to see it is still there,
Using a solid Rascal bred stud is an option.

  3. Yes, i agree! I believe his blood goes back to Crenshaws ch Honeybunch. You know of any good dogs out there that fit the discription? Or any other options.

If we are talking weight pulling I would look for a heavy Bolio dog. One of the first things one will find out about a Bolio dog is pound for pound strength. A 40lb dog on the other end of the lead may feel more like a 55-60lb dog.

It's a nice Snooty blend. The sons of Pedro were killing it around here a few years back.

Some of the best dogs I have owned were heavy on the Snooty-Bolio and Bolio-Snooty blends.

    Soze the killer likes this.
  5. That actually sounds good too! I know Titan Kennels has Red Pirate which is Heavy Bolio i believe and Mim's Handy also has a great pedigree, Heavy Bass Tramp Red Boy... this is the first time i post anything in these forums but i read through them often. Im glad i decided to post, any other great suggestions?

I like the Rascal idea as well, an older gentleman Woodson in Texas has some nice ones still I believe.
