When ya won, did ya get that "Oh my God" last breath feeling? Ya know, the one where you find it hard to breathe?

Did ya get goose bumps when you were picked?

You didn't cry now did ya? (wink) But I bet ya damn sure wanted to! I felt that way when I beat out 23 dogs in Best Male for a 4.5 foot trophy from Ed Hinkle!

Now post up your ribbon and brag a lil! (wink)

 

I'm still new to all of this- who is Fitz?

Also, if anyone has pics of my dog (black dog, cropped ears, male, wearing red collar)/ me (wearing red tank top and jeans) would you please post them up/ send them to me? I didn't have a camera and don't have any pics from the weekend.

He's one of my yardboys and understudies. I'm also his rugby coach, lol!

 

I have to say, I was doing some praying in the ring (esp since my handling skills are deplorable...).

I don't think the real import of it hit till well after we were out of the ring, lol. To me he is still just my little monster that sleeps on the pillow next to my head, but it's nice to know at least one other person thinks he is as handsome as I do.

Fitz is my black male posted in the previous pages. 1st Place in the 18-24 males and as a pup he was 1st place in the 4-6 month males last year.

 

ShadyRidge, congrats! I thought the male you had with the white head was gorgeous. He should have placed!

 

If thats the case you might want to join or start your own club so maybe you can win some.

AH HA! Yes, he is a NICE dog! I actually talked to whoever it was that handled him (I am confused as hell as to who owns him, who handles him) at the concession stand and gave my compliments there, but he deserves them again! He is a looker!

A well deserved placement as first of the class IMO.

Umm, are you the owner of Mathew? And thanks it was my first ADBA show and i had an amazing time, im still in disbelief that we got first place! I was proud to walk Fitz I've been working with him for the past few months and Mr. Mark had enough confidence in me to let me walk Fitz in the show , it was a pleasure he's a great dog and showed really well against some other really top notch dogs.

 

Nope, my dog is Graham's Tsar, call name Pax (black dog, cropped ears, helped to make me look like a fool in the ring), took second place 3-5 y old males.

My first ADBA show as well. You guys looked good out there! Congrats again.

Mr. Mark....Hats off to you sir! Not sure of who you are or IF we crossed paths at shows. But it will be a pleasure to meet you. Too times often we see the typical "attitude" at shows that has deterred alot of folks from returning. And that sucks! But it is people like yourself (from what I have been reading and seeing when you do post) that etch a persons mind that some of us are truly gentlemen/ladies in the sport.
