This incident is one more stumbling block that we as responsible owners have to overcome. This doesn't support our defense against BSL, it only makes it tougher. :mad:

I think the people overlooking the dogs for the drugs don't really have any interest in the genuine APBT. JMO.

 

Huh??? This is about the dogs! Cocaine involvement/evidence was the probable cause to search the property. Where they found the dogs in the condition and lame state that they were in (for lack of better words). So now the scope of this initial case has turned into drugs and fighting APBTS, something that the media has been trying to link to support BSL. So yes this is about dogs.

 

what do you mean by lame state if you are trying to say that because thats what the paper wrote you should know if youve been in this breed for more then a week thats what they say every time they pick up someones dogs

 

I won't go as far as saying that all the dogs were in that condition because some of the dogs were healthy. Yes these are accusations but 52 dogs, one with a partial amputated leg, some with fresh puncture wounds and lacerations and others with seriuos trauma and major orthopedic injuries. If that is correct then that sounds like a lame dog to me....

 

they may have been hog hunting or had a yard accident and as far as your accusations if you have not seen his yard and his dogs yourself you should shut up i thought yall didnt bash people if they werent here to defend themselves

 

the dog that is missing a limb was ran over by a lawn mover, and he has the vet bills to prove it. ....doesnt justify selling drugs though.

 

Its not about the dogs, the dogs were a bonus. The drugs are the focus, the drugs and the fire arm... are what they will do time for.


They knew when they were serving the warrant that those dogs were there,they were prepared....as far as A/C f%ck them! they stated that they were trying to get his ass for yrs......but didnt have the actual evidance they needed to pursue. .....A/C and the HSUS are riding coat tails!

They were not caught with a dog between their legs....So, no it's not about dogfighting. No proof just speculation!

I never said follow in his footsteps... I just said people do what people do to get by right or wrong. Take a look at most of you all do for a living and I'll show you someone making a buck at the expense of another... it is a capitalistic society. The drugs were just an excuse to do what they did... how many times have you waited for the right time to jump on someone just to justify your own metaphysical reality. I see it happen everytime I read a post in here. I am sure this trophy case is going to have a big influence on the drug problem in America. Keep lookin in the mirror telling yourself you are beautiful - sure helps by making others around you the bad guy - sure.

 

Interesting perception. So most of us are politition's?!?! I am sure He and she will be brought up on many charges some fabricated all of them blown out of the line of full truth most will involve the counts of drug and the related paraphanilia, toss in the weapon (which we have a constitutional right to bare) toss in for the dogs and what not make a big stink over it. It will have some ripple effect on BSL and our breed in general. They will drag it out dump the stupid stuff in court not report that of course because that doesn't sell papers (lies and distortion does) and they will slap their butts in the bird cage for a while. Lord know's the dogs are a innocent bystander but bystanders get hit all the time in the line of fire (not literal fire but sometimes).Lessons will be learned hopefully to screen better for representatives and judges of the breed for the clubs. We have to learn from this and remember this when we breed and sell or adopt out the breed to whom we are dealing with. A background check isn't hard to do. Make a puppy or kennel contract, make them give references, and contact the vet and those references and check the criminal history. Wont catch all of the missfits but more that we are now obviously. Hell some do credit checks. We must check our selves and make sure we are not wood for the fire. It don't need any more fuel. Raise the bar. Like it or not we all are responsible for the breed so if we over look some one or something we are just tossing another log in the fire. And if you do check eachother and know the dude is clean with his dogs stand in the gap and show your support for him. Call senators, write letters, be a pain in the ass for those pushing your brother/sister through the dirt. Hell if I knew him I would be there myself. And for those of you that know me all you have to do is call and I will act on it.

Im sure it said in the article that they KNEW he was fighting dogs yet couldnt prove it so they were just waiting to get him on something else..

Im not saying he was a smart man or that it wasnt his own darn fault . that certainly is his own fault

But there's alot more people whom alot of people think highly off that have alot of skeletons in their closets.

Thats the truth the dog with the amputated leg was hit with debris from or by the lawnmower itself I cant remember, And if you have ever tried mowing around a yard full of high strung wild dogs you would know how easily that can happen lol.

 

So I wonder what they did with all the coke because you know the dogs are dead...
