WHOA. That's quite a few dogs. That's quite a bit of coke, too. You'd think the ADBA would look into someone's background at least a LITTLE before letting them become a judge.

I can't believe the paper can just publish his address like that.

And again with the treadmill for training fighting dogs.

    Sigh...

The newspapers can do whatever they wish until someone steps up and fights against them.

Normally I'd fight for a couple scared up dogs and a treadmill, but I cannot argue for someone with that much cocaine. He's had some good dogs....but you can keep the blow to yourself.

  5. yup well he had it coming to him. drugs and doing dogs , dont mix very well.

  6. where are the sick dogs...no photos...? Strange thing.

A blow to the breed. Like someone else said drugs and pit bulls dont go to well together when busted.

I also agree that this is a blow to the breed indeed. Not only the breed but to the ADBA. I wouldn't be surpirsed if people start to stereotype the ADBA as dope dealers and dog fighters all because of one mans criminal behavior. Definitely need to do backround checks..

  12. Well if he got cought with drugs that is great another dealer off the streets, but on the other hand being an ADBA judge what will happen next we,ll see. What will they say about the breed.

    Yup, that's a bummer.

Edit:I'll bet, This is a family issue. Unfrotuantly, their dogs are the least of their worries now.

I dont' know these ppl, they might be great ppl....however, if you choose to subsidise your hoby w/ this type of activities...I will not support you,nor defend you.

Robert Lowery, 57, was being held by Justice Department officials today on a federal charge of conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

His wife, Julie Ann Dzikowich, 48, who shares Lowery's address at 3554 Lake Farm Road in the town of Dunn, was in the Dane County Jail today on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to deliver between 40 and 100 grams of cocaine.

Geesh, the wife too. I don't know much about drugs but I do know that 40-100 gr is kind of vage. Drugs don't mix with anything worth while that is sorry. And they tarnish another page about our dogs with it. If you do stuff that is illegal you should expect trouble. Too bad it had to harm the dogs too. Damn shame.

if he was living close to a school his sentence could be mandatory 3 years... depends on where he lives.. its so sad when drugs are involved, everyone suffers..

It goes to show you, that people are'nt always what they are put out to be! I think that they should start checking out the judges background before they can judge. Don't you think that it would make a bad impression on ADBA?
