Yeah, I was telling FK how the first show I ever went to in Taylorsville. My boyfriend and I were watching the weight-pull. They had it in that other building, not where they have it now, and Licker was on deck, and he asked me to take a picture for him. I was pretty thrilled, because I had been rooting for that dog all afternoon. lol. Next show, I should try to get some courage and talk to the guy. Let him know what a fan I am. I'm such a nerd. lol.

Nope, I thought the guy on the left with the white dog and blue shirt. He is with Anarchy Kennels. I remember because the first show I went to. He didn't leave a very good impression on me. I may have been hasty in my first impression, but I don't know the guy, so I won't really judge him, but that is why I do remember him. lol.

Aww, we drove passed there, too. Well, I'm happy he won, too bad I missed his "fire". lol. He did look fantastic...That guy(Tenacity K) seems down to earth, and nice.

  8. I was talking about the the one on the left side of this pic...blue shirt/jeans and the black dog...with the really bad gay tail....

I'm not sure who he is. He had quite a few dogs though. It seemed like everytime I looked he had another dog in the holding area. I don't know if he is associated with Tenacity Kennels. I don't think he is, but don't quote me on it. He's not the guy I associate with TK though. That guy did have one buckskin, and the rest were black, I believe.

  11. I am not sure either..I just know I saw him coming out of their trailer..thought someone might know....

Yeah, I was the one with the "baby pen" LOL .... it worked great! Well sorta! You can see us in the back ground in the one picture of Phantom. Bud was having some time off from showing, I should have brought him, he would have placed in 3-5 males.

I had this male there, Helios took 3rd in 18 to 24 males on sunday, he was in Phantoms class...also took 3rd best rednose sunday, Sat he took 3rd judges choice. He looks like williams old dog Wilber.

I didn't make it on sunday but my Ch. Bart took the 2-3 males class on saturday over 18 dogs I believe. The real action was in the weight pull, some of the best dogs you will see were there. All of mine set new personal records I think
    Spirit - 44 lb female pulled 4375 lbs - 99%
    Madden - 72 lb male pulled 7775 lbs - 109%
    Baron - 40 lb male pulled 6775 lbs - 169%
Overall body pound winner was Rude Dawg's Tar Baby pulling 230 times his body weight I believe, and the most weight pulled was 11,500 (somewhere close to that) by Minute Man who weighed in at 90 lbs. We didn't get the National weight pull because apparently some people think the better weight pull dogs are down south in Texas and on the west coast:confused:

I know alot of people were pretty pissed off at the sunday show. The people that were winning B.I.S were people that owned or was apart of AADR. They did have very nice dogs but i seen better ones out there and the judge on sunday wasnt a very good judge to me. Ed Faron has nice dogs we all know that but his dogs placed in every single class that day and he had alot of dogs and he took B.I.S i think. I just dont get it i felt like i was at a ADBA show more then a AADR show there was alot of politics going on like a ADBA show.

Mary Shea with XXX from Hellz Comin Knls took BIS, he was a very nice dog. I personally liked SchoolBoy better than Williams. School boy chose dogs with excellent conformation and condition, not people he knew like on Sat. FK knows, they were there on Sat. the dogs that were winning were all friends.

In my honest opinion....every show is political, you can't get away from it, just have to hope the judge likes the way your dog looks. After showing for a while, you get to know which judge likes what kind of dog, so then you know who to bring and who to leave at home.

Thats what I was going to say. I placed 1st and my sister kennel took a 1st and a 3rd. Saturday was all friends, Sunday the judge did it right, he was pleasent and ACTUALLY GAVE EYE CONTACT. He was one of the best judges I've come in contact with. He didn't go under the tent before every class and talk to people. I'm sorry, but no offense. I mean, we were calling the winners before he even placed them on Saturday because we knew who they knew. I won on Sunday and I am not in the AADR club, I rarely do AADR shows, so how does that place me?
