9 week old puppy man biter...

..if your dog bites ya anytime...ya make sure he/she never thinks about it againn....

 

I had to laugh when I read that I have Red nose 9 weeks and she bites and chews on everything. She even chewed on my cat's tail that didn't last long. They are best buds fun to watch when they play. My cat showed her who is boss in the house. I have two boys 3 & 4 and she nips at them but I been working with her and she understands the the word No and she stops when they tell her no. She is learning to play with them without nipping.

 

If we all tether our dogs or kennel them at a young age and raise them with little or no interaction with other dogs,SURE we can say that the pack mentality is no longer prevelant. Those who raise them different, or SEEN them in another type setting might come to conclude something different.
My question is if you never seen this situation,HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU EVALUATE IT???SPECULATION???
GOING LIGHT BARNEY WAS RAISED IN A PACK WITH HIS PARENTS WHOM HE RESPECTED AS HIS DEN FATHER & MOTHER.THE OWNER OF BARNEY TURNED HIS YOUNG MECHANIC INDIAN SONNY ON TO BULLDOGS,SONNY HAD A PACK RUNNING LOOSE WHEN J ROD PICKED UP GR CH MIDNIGHT OUT OF THIS PACK...J.COLBYS TOWN WAS RAN BY A PACK OF LOOSE BULLDOGS THATMOVED UP IN RANK,AND ENDED UP BEING SOLD AS PROSPECTS AL OVER THE US.
GR CH HANK RAN LOOSE ON CAPTAIN AMERICAS YARD UNTIL THIRTEEN YEARS OLD WHEN HIS GRANDSON CH JUMBO JIM GOT A HOLD OF HIM,PROBABLY SICK OF SEEING GRAMPS GET ALL THE ACTION. ALL PACK LEADERS GET KILLED
OFF OR RAN OFF BY THE NEXT IN LINE,NATURAL SELECTION.PACK MENTALITY MIGHT NOT BE THE NORM,BUT ITS POSSIBLE AND DOGS THRIVE WHEN THEY KNOW THIER PLACE...

 

Please remember the fundamental advice for this breed of dog. This Breed is for handlers with experience. And strong and confident trainer.
You are neither both descriptions. Please do not use this puppy to practice on. happy a bulldog when u already have knowledge and experience.
PLEASE proceed with caution. I appreciate the fact that you actually asked for help and advice. I do hope you actually follow the advice.
I hope you are rational enough to frequently reassess your efforts and stop when you realize you are in over your head.

 

Are pups tryed to bite us to thats from the playing in the nest, probebly you liket it in the begining becous thats funny but now he thinks that biting you is what you like becous you now make some nois and for the pup that means ill have your attention.
Ill think every time he will try to bite you you must play with the toy whee he may bite in to and than you gives him the right attention.
He must make a klik on it here ill can and there ill cant.
for all the good things he do you must give hime a reward.
you must now for all the bad things he now does you will yel scream and do stuff, thats his attention from you to him.

hope you find the right way to handle him
stop that and when he does some bad things pick hom up and go playing with him and than you gives him the right attention

 

i also have a 9 week puppie , 1 week that he came home now , he bite me for play ,jump at my face when we are on the couch.

I try to relax sitting close to him but he only think of bitting me , jumping on me . Too much energy on the evening .

i tried to put him on his back , hold it , take him by the neck skin , saying no , nothing really stop him .

I just can ignore him and move away .

 

...it's ..a pup...for god sake...if it annoy's ya get rid or put in a pen..or cage......

 

Go play with him where he can play with you, so he will now where well and where not.
After a good play with the pup he will be sleeping and then its time for you to relax.
You wanted an apbt pup you goth one, they are full off energie and this is just the beginning.

This person had a ton of good advice and even offers to take the dog, and let me guess, never took anybody up? That just makes me think it was fabricated.

I have a 12 week old pup who nipped my lip when I was laying on the ground. He doesn't nip anymore!! Lol. Gamedogs don't like being in trouble, hence the ease of training. He's off haystack×blacksnake if anyone cares.

Get rid of it, Get show bred bull terrier. It will be too much for you when it Get bigger, if you scared the pup now they gonna sense that when they get older and put you in your place. Unless you wanna hunt with it, it's not worth it. And Tom garner is to blame for giving high calibre dogs to pet homes.
