I have a 4 month old pup, he was raised in a pen all his life with the other pups. The guy was a hog hunter and didn't spend a lot of time with them, because he wanted the pups to bond with thier new owner. All he did was feed them and gave them medicine. The pups were very hyper and playful. When I got the pup he was real timid and that was 10-9-04 he is starting to come around but still alittle afraid of somethings. I have a 3.5 month female and they get along fine sometimes.
Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation? and what is the best way to handle it? and how long does it usually last? Thanks; DL

1st he just a pup , 2nd with him being around new thing he' has to adapt to those things , once he gets use to it and you, he'll come around just give it time. Since him and the female are young they will play , but as they get older i would watch them that female may get fiesty and may want to bump heads with your male or the other way around. other than that let them get used to there new surroundings , they need to adapt , just like if i move one of my dogs from yard to another he/she would bark all night in the new yard , their way of getting used to it. good luck with them and i hope you the best!

nice looking pups, just give him time and love and he will come around. he has to get use to his new area and owner(s) then he will be fine. good luck with both of them

g you got a lot of dogs to look after. The pups are o.k too. just care for them as much as you love them they'll love you. You got a good set up at your house for the doggies.... it looks like a monster yard for them. You should definitely keep strangers out of there sight unless your 100% possitive they'll adabt well, to avoid provoking the dogs behavior. i'm sure they'll protect there owners. Because there's a few of them, they look fiesty and i dont think you would want to mess with them at a young age because they'll grow up to remember thinking it's o.k to be viscious. besides that there beautiful dogs. Teach your pups how to play and try to play neat tricks with them because they love it, avoid your dogs jumping to bite toys. Get them to chase them, they should bring it back and chew on it until you leave or throw it again orelse they'v had enough. by the way my favourite picture is the one with you on the couch. Just my opinion

now I play alittle ruff with the female (brown/white) sometimes. But when I'm done I will tell her Ok thats enough and I will stop if she keeps on I will tell her to be nice and she stops. Now is she to young to be playing around like that ?

a long as you and her know that it's freindly cuddly playing. ruckusing with the pups makes them react widely if you dont put them in their place.

o.k i was caught out by the ladie's husband, just apoligizing for the cheeky comments i spoke of earlier, yep i agree with marty it's a pittbull chat house, from now on i'll focus on the pittbulls and not the women. sorry but not ashamed, it's a man thing and i mean no harm, sorry to those i might of offended i'll make sure it wont happen again.

Well Whats Up Marty? Your Doing A Good Job In Security, Now I Must Explain To You What I Mean About Tempering Pups At A Young Age. Not An Expert But Tell Me If I'm Wrong And Be Straight Up About It. Pittbulls Got Game. There's No Doubt About It, But If The Pittbulls Have A Go At Humanbeings Or People Is That Game. Now Do You Hear Why I Spelt The Words, Don't Ruckus With The Pups Because They Grow Up To Be Very Aggressive. You Sound Like You Have A Lot Of Knowledge About Your Wits. Good On To You.

Hey pingers thanks for your complements...I am all for making a pup mind!...but they are going to play ruff thats just the way they are,... they play ruff with there litter mates and with out them they will play ruff with there owners, you just have to let them know when to stop...its different with a grown dog...if a grown dog shows human aggression I would put the dog down, theres no room for dogs that bite... I have played ruff with every pup ive raised, when they get grown,... they show no human aggression!!!!!!!! its all in how the dog is bred and raised!!!!!!!
