17 Feb Hunt

We went to a spot we haven't been to in quite a while, dropped the dogs and headed out. About 15-20 minutes in the dogs disappeared and then we heard one open up...I thought he may be trashing on a skunk, because this dog sure loves a skunk! So we waited for another dog to join in...instead, we heard a group of hogs start to grunt. We cut the catchdogs loose to the inevitable melee. Ended up with this 100-125 pound sow...just the right size for a BBQ.

 

Nice! looks like a fun time was had by all.

Would mean one hell of a way to swim for me and my dogs...lol...but be sure I would love that(and my Boys to). Some of you over there life like in paradise.....

Nothing better than fresh bbq pork, you use the pitbulls as bay dogs and release the catch dogs , or the other way around, i know nothing of hunting lol. Nice Ab.s.

We use Curs for strike dogs and bulldogs for catching.

Well folks...anyone who's close and wants to get together, I'm sure we can set up a BBQ.

 

good hog bamaboy, what part of south texas you in. all of my moms side of the family lives in and around houston and if i could con them into letting my dogs stay a few nights i'd be up for a texas hunt.

 

Just East of San Antonio...about 2 1/2 hours from Houston. Just let me know when you can make it and we'll set it up.
