OK. Cesar Milan.... Don't always agree with his techniques, but of all the dogs he could have chose, he brought two pitbulls out onto the red carpet with him on the 100th episode. He reaches a lot of ppl and a lot of ppl watch this show. Do you think maybe those that have heard negative comments on the breed and seen it in the news will have a different opinion? You have to give him that much for trying to portrait the breed in a more possitive light. Not bad dogs, bad owners.

  2. I think it will change some peoples opinions, but only to a certain degree. I think the majority of them will just be thinking "wow he can even tame the vicious pitbull breed there really isn't any dog he can't tame is there" Kind of thing. But I appreaciate what he's doing. He's newest family dog is a little blue Pit,notice I said FAMILY....and I've noticed the dog food, water etc.. that he's advertising all have the same pic. 2 pitbulls included

Considering all the media on Raids and Busted dogman, I would think any positive response is better than none. JMO. I don't care what dog food or resource has his name on it. We need all we can get....

  4. I don't care about his products neither I'm just bringing it up, agreed though something is better then nothing.

My hope is that the regular America will see it as "somethng possitive" and will help our issue of promoting a breed that is structured, loving and the all american dog it use to be.

  6. I hope the same, but with BSL running as rampant as it is we have a long way to go. Our breed of dog is hated by the very country that created it.:(

That's interesting about his food. Hadn't heard of that until now. I looked it up, and they sell it at PetCo, and DFA rates it as a 3-star food. I wouldn't feed it, but there are far worse out there.

i saw a show that he did, where he took a lady that had the ,"pits are baby killers!" ides in her head. he had her sit on the ground and he let his 5 red nose dogs run up to and around her, and she finally opened her eyes and saw that they played with her just as and other dog. she was speechless. i chuckled my nuts off cause she was freaking out at first. i like the way is sticks up for the apbt. good work.

  9. LOL at (i chuckled my nuts of) I wouldn't feed that food neither, but I do appreciate the love he has for Pits.:)

  10. Hi,
I am new to this forum, I have had APBTs for 20 years now. My profession as a dog groomer I would take my dogs to work with me every day to the shop, always trying to educate everyone on how good the breed really is. So any help like Cesar does is great for Pit Bulls. We breed designer dogs and sell a lot of puppies to first time owners and I always tell people to watch him, I figure any help is good!

Yea I know I have lurked for a long time here, but this is what I do! But I have to say my LOVE is the APBT and that is what I have for my personal dog.

I hope he is getting a positive message out to America.

But the negative side of me feels that if he keeps making America believe Dog Aggressive can be trained out, then it might cause more problems and more bad press when their dog attacks another.
