Don't think that @Bulldoghistorian refered that remark to you @Box Bulldog as you are not a troll at all.

What @oldguy says make sense, he mixed it up.

Yes @Bulldoghistorian as they beg for it they get it directly delivered.

BTW '' Willie Pep '' one of my favourite boxers from the past, no heavyweight, but an all time great.

He called out Klitchko before AJ fought him. He’s been calling out AJ for yeeeeeaaars!! He just fought Fury and a man who’s only loses are to the WBC champ himself. Who’d he duck??

One of the best Feather weights to lace up the gloves. His fights with Sandy Saddler are some of the all time classics.

Its all good! I figured you had the wrong guy. I had the same story happen to me this fall. My friend was getting a light heavy ready for his pro debut and asked me to come sparr. I went 4 rugged rounds with him and had very few moments I just felt worthless after. But he is early 20's I am late 30's I just got of the couch he had a good camp for 6 weeks prior plus he had a solid 10lbs on me I have lost a lot of size in the last 6 years from not training. Anyhow he went on to win his pro debut by K.O. in the 2nd round against a Mexican fighter so I on the bright side of things I lasted longer than his opponent did I guess.

I don't think that's true tbh. Rumour as it that Wlad put Wilder to sleep when they sparred.

Just my opinion fellas! Klitschko was unmotivated and seemed tired and bored when he faced Tyson Fury, he just looked stale and Fury's beautiful boxing style added to a very bad night for Klitschko.. Surely Wilder had to call out Klitschko since #1, Klitschko was holding the belts, and #2, most people could see Klitschko was there for taking anyway! Different story two years later though.. Klitschko was on fire when he met Joshua! IMO he was twice the fighter that faced Fury... Taking nothing away from Tyson Fury because when his head is right, I believe he's the best boxer in the heavyweight division in terms of style and talent..

Wilder has limited boxing ability, the skinniest/weakest legs I ever seen in heavyweights and a very suspect chin! I honestly believe any decent puncher catches Wilder clean, then he's gone! BUUUUUT! Wilders holds the ace card when it comes to KO potential... He owns the biggest right hand on the planet, he hits anyone with the right hand (apart from fury) and they're sleeping!

Fury is a nut who must be the best boxer out of all the heavyweights, proved against Wilder that he can't be knocked out! I watched the fight again recently and he was Wilder's worst nightmare. The downside for Fury is he don't appear to have knockout power at championship level, although I believe he could KO Wilder because of his terrible punch resistance.. In other words Tyson Fury a good head dog, with no mouth!

Anthony Joshua is a far better boxer than Wilder, better chin too, although not as good as Fury's.. AJ got better knockout power than Fury, but not better than Wilder.. If AJ boxes Wilder, he has the ability to outpoint him and if he connects right, then he has the power to knock him out.. Tyson Fury is the biggest threat to AJ since Wilder only appears to be a one dimensional chest dog! I think Tyson Fury will knock Wilder out if they fight again and I can't make a prediction on Joshua v Wilder.. Just what I think!

I agree Wladimir was much better in the Joshua fight than the Fury fight. My opinion at the time was Wladimir was use to being the bigger longer man and his jab was his best weapon. When he fought Fury he had less reach and height so he had to punch up which was not what he ever had to do. Fury could touch Wlad but Wlad couldnt touch him. Once he figured he couldnt land a jab at range it screwed up his hole fight. Its impossible to find a decent sparring partner if you training to fight Fury. When Wlad fought Joshua there size is was equal and Wlad's head just seemed more in the fight that night. Wilder has great power, part of the reason is the way he throws it. If other heavy weights through the way he does they would have crazy power as well but most don't want to open up like that to risky. A good right hand to me is a Wladimir right hand fast, short and straight. As for Wilder's chin I dont think its the best but not the worst either. When Oritz caught him in the 1st fight he took a long time to recover and he showed he doesn't know how to clinch. As for his legs I have heard about how skinny they are for years personally I think there fine they seem to hold him up just fine for 12 rounds and you don't need muscle's you don't need to eat up air in longer fights. Fury is a nice boxer but he can be hit he has always been a sucker for a right hand (Steve Cunningham/Neven Pajkic/Wilder ex.) landed it and put him down. I dont think he is the best puncher but he can hurt you plenty. Its a toss up for me between Fury and Joshua probably favor fury on the cards, Wilder behind those two.

@Box Bulldog .. Good points you made, lots to think about! I'm no fan of either Fury or Joshua.. I watch them because it's a fight, but difficult to rate todays heavyweights compared to those from the past!.. I watched that George Chuvalo documentary you told me about and the man was a fucking monster! Think he'd have gone through todays heavyweights like a chainsaw! Instead though, he had to fight Zora Foley, Floyd Patterson, Ernie Terrell, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier and George Foreman.. Don't mean any disrespect to the current Heavyweights, but they're not in that league.

That era was a tough time to be a heavyweight. After watching all the important heavyweight fight's for the last 100 years personally I would have to say Joe Louis was the best of all time. Held it the longest and had the most title defense's. When you watch him fight you can see he was a razor sharp fighter. There has been great fighters from all era's just some more than others.

It wasn't necessarily the height that caused problems as he's faced tall fighters like Wach before but more the movement. What boxer in the division can move like Fury, there's really none that can do that in sparring other than Fury himself.

Although it is not the greatest era in HW history it has the potential to be a good one. All the top fighters have their faults and all are very beatable on any given day. They must though however face each other or else it's all gone down the shitter.

This all day. Wlad was scared in the ring with fury he didn’t know what the hell to do since all his old tricks wouldn’t work that’s fury’s skill he makes great boxers look like they’ve never boxed before. But Joshua will never fight fury Anyway Eddie would never send his golden goose to the butchers.

@Lrs .. What great boxers did Fury fight mate? Klitschko wasn't great, only best in the division at that time.. Kitschko v Fury was a terrible fight, yes Fury won but a messy, stumbling, miss by a mile contest to watch.. Agree Fury is awkward, but Wilder put him down how many times? Schwartz was cherry picked, Otto Wallin bust Fury wide open and his previous opponent dived, KO'd without Wallin's glove even touching him.. That's the level Otto Wallin was fighting at prior to Fury!

Eddie Hearn won't be able to stop Joshua going after Fury and Wilder, couldn't even stop him going straight back into Andy Ruiz jnr, reason being Joshua wants all the heavyweight belts, he wants to leave his legacy in history and knows he'll never be considered best of his era until he beats Fury and Wilder, whether he succeeds - or not - is another story, but Fury, Wilder and Joshua will fight! If they don't, then it won't be down to AJ.. We forgetting Daniel Dubois and that could be a mistake in future!
