    There was post some months back by BAMA. Several good options there.

    I use a Timberline boot but I am not sure which style. The next time I am at work I will check which model.

    Lots like Timberland , I can't remember model number of mine but only complaint I had was the souls was so dam soft it hurt my feet ..lol strange I know but true.I'm wearing some Ariats that's doing me just fine and are a tough boot.

    Most like Red Wing boots around here. I just wear cheap dickies, work fine for me.

    I will say this about Ariats you got to try them on .I tried prob 3 different sizes before I settled on a pair.I'm talking bout slip on Ariats .Need to be snug and as they break in they will loosen up.

    I like Red wing boots and Doc Martin's boots too.For a long lasting pair of boots Doc Martin.

    Not boots, but I teach in docs shoes. I do a lot of walking around the classroom and since I have gotten the docs my feet feel way better, however they are not as solid as the boots I had as a kid that were made in England.

    Couple guys I work with wear Thorogood and they are a bit pricey over 200 but they both say they are top notch.

    I have a pair of doc boots I have wool for 3 years the only thing is the soul is slick on the boots now. not sure where they're made. A dam good pair of boots for the money.

    I have not had much luck with Georgia boots Timberland would be a better choice.

    in the uk ,a decent boot is hoggs.I was looking at the red wing boots a while back and coudnt believe how expensive they were.i have also worn ex military.

    I get my boots from military suppliers. I am currently using a pair designed for desert use. They offer nice protection and are sturdy whilst being light, breathable and also comfortable. Comfort is big for me. I don’t want to get blisters and hard skin again I’d I can help it.
