I don't know anything about Hammond or the guy on the site, I found it when looking into DJ getting dogs from PP. Then read quite a few of the guys very interesting stories. I don't know if this guy is disillusioned or not but amongst the conspiracy there are some interesting parts. I think he stepped the line with posting pics from RF when the guy said to remove them.

That's not the first time I have heard that about GH's yard....the free mason stuff sounds crazy but he does point out some interesting stuff lol

That site is a nightmare to navigate with the background and having to click on every reply in a thread to view it. Yeah there is a lot of paranoia, which I can understand if the guy feels he is being watched. I personally think he is looking too much into things that are not there and forming connections based on massive leaps of judgement.

I enjoyed reading his site though anyway.

Hammond has bred some very good dogs, everyone has people who don't like them , that will always find something bad to say about them ,,

He has a yard video online. Watch it and then you can make a determination of what kind of care you believe he takes of his dogs. Then there will be no more assuming.

On The Conspiracy about Masons I may add to his site that Eugene Glass The Owner and editor of the "Dog Fancier" and author of "The Sporting Bull Terrier" was also a Mason and is featured in the book "The American tyler-keystone; devoted to freemasonry ... v.4 no.36 1891."

The Dog Fancier started in 1890 a year before that book and there is many mentions of Free Masons and Masonary in The Dog Fancier. The Fancier was also based in Battle Creek, Mich.

A Couple of the many Masonic references in The Dog Fancier.

    Masonic adv 1905.jpg Masonic t 1916.jpg

A Mason running a publication that was the main puplication on Pit Bull Terriers at the time, as stated by Armitage in his book and in the adverts within the Dog Fancier such as this one.

Some of the adverts in The Dog fancier had the use of Ancient religious symbols such as the hooked cross well before it was connected with the evil Nazi's in the 1930's.

    Adverts from 1909.

So the Masons have had a long involvement in the dogs at least so maybe some of the guys points are not entirely crazy, well except that it doesn't mean that there is some big conspiracy and that they are time travelling reptilians, linked to the Nazi's, the Queen of England and are infiltrating the dog game to catch dogmen whilst being themselves protected from harm, lol.

Exactly what I thought XL Bully or English Bulldog look with wide chest.

She was bred quite a bit though and her sire was roughouse a good dog.

I like the look of a wide chest dog just personal preference. I bet she was very athletic dog with drive compared to most of the bullys I see today. I have never really seen a game bred dog like her with wide front and rear quarters that tapers to a thin small athletic body. Maybe I just like her because she is different. She was probably a good dog in her day. I like the old game dogs because they came in more different shapes and sizes than the dogs today.

Yes, dogs known for good endurance do not look like that...stands to reason as it takes more effort to move laterally as it is naturally going g to be less agile that way. That is why the standard calls for a deep but not too wide of chest.
