Where Bolio (Likely) Got His Name

    I once read in the SDJ letters (I cannot recall the author) that Bolio was named after a baked Mexican bread with a tan to light brown crust. This may be the source of the name, though it is spelled bolillo:

    This is true. In Mexico "bolillo" is slang for a white gringo.
