Great topic. I recently got a new pup. Male. He is what I call scary. Some may say shy. I haven’t had one like him in a long time. He is not so scary of objects and noises but very Leary with people. A challenge to say the least. Not used to a pup like this. My daughter won’t even mess with him and vise versa. I attribute a lot of his behavior to environment. One thing is I got him at about 3 months old. Not really a problem but the guy had him and his last brother locked in a dark shed all day. I believe early socialization and interaction has a lot of influence on a pup
