Flow its actually opposite on catch dogs .I knew more than one man that wouldn't keep a ear dog because they couldn't do enough damage so they were better suited for catch work or just a good dog to have around on the farm.You had some men who liked a ear dog and kept them.You get to much mouth on a catch dog and more than likely he ain't gone catch on the ear and bite so hard he go all the way thru and the hog is on your ass lol.I understand what you saying though and why folks would think that .But yep I believe them white dogs WK had was a little more in the mix other than just Bulldogs.

You can see the bt in komisinky pics I’ve seen. People have used all sorts of crosses and had success but the problem is they don’t tend to reproduce reliably.why did they in the first place? Maybe they were curious? And how many crosses have failed they don’t often talk about how many failed before they got it right.
