Lewis’ Boots 2xw (ROM) being bred to White’s Molly (POR). This breeding produced 1 of only 2 all game litters I have seen.

@stedz .. The diamond/arrow head stamp what we always looked for coming down through Skipper and CH.Max.. Don't know if it guaranteed anything, but Max, Yogi, Bash, Archie, Grizzly and Nathan all had it.. Photo below is magic diamond on Champion Max 4xw

    I honestly didnt know that.
I honestly didnt know that, obviosly im aware a lot of them had a white blaze on the chest, centre of head coming down muzzle and white toes, but never saw or was told about that diamond arrow mark on back of the head, obviously unless you saw those dogs in the flesh you wouldnt be aware of it,and most photos are front or side on so you woudnt see it,i can imagine you back in the day, when a bitch was dropping her pups, checking the back of the head as well as the sex! I wonder if that trait was back in kingfish buddy ,turtlebuster dogs as well.Wish i knew that when i had those old ed read videos of skipper pups on vhs,i would have been having a closer look. Thank you old guy top info!

I never bred many litters mate, so unsure whether Scotsman's Max produced the diamond/arrowhead trait more than other Skipper bred dogs like CH.Billy, CH.Rex, CH.Dread, Jone's Scrapper and so on? Be interesting to know from a purely historical point of view? We was lucky at that time since we was satisfied with what we already had around us.. I don't remember GR.CH.Bill having the diamond, Charlie certainly never had it and IMO he was best son of Scotsman's Max.. You can see in photo below Champion Curstopper had it and also threw it in his offspring.

As a matter of fact it's all three mate! He was already retired when I got him.. Yarrakin Lad originally owned and campaigned him, but got he sent to prison and Champion Curstopper got passed to other people who didn't necessarily appreciate working Reid blood, but bred Curstopper to add the gameness and durability Reid dogs were known for to their own stock.. Obviously some of them couldn't resist the temptation to see for themselves whether Curstopper was really as game as his reputation made out? They done their best to stop him, very near killed him in the process before finally getting it through their thick skulls the dog wouldn't stop EVER!

When Yarrakin Lad came out of prison he went to fetch Curstopper back and found his dog ravaged by the worst case of Sarcoptic mange, demodex and ring worm we'd ever seen.. Yarrakin wanted to put Curstopper down and the dog probably would have thanked him for it, but I wanted to save him, give him a home and a well deserved retirement.. Took me 6 months to get him right again, some of his coat never grew back properly and eventually I gave him to a local guy who adored the dog and one of the kindest men I ever met.. I'd find them both fishing off the end off the pier most nights and as soon as a mackerel landed, Curstopper would eat it.. None of the other guys fishing ever seemed to give a fuck coz they liked that old dog too!

Around 1990 Hell's Jocks Kennels owned Road Warriors Champion Bash and Scotsman's Tanya as well as a litter brother to Redeye's Clever Charlie 2xw called Boss.. Hell's Jocks bred Champion Bash to Tanya and produced a litter that included Nathan, Big Freddie, Rustler's Scalli and Sheera 1xw.. Sheera defeated MM's Pirate in 20 mins (litter sister to Curstopper)

The below pedigree of Rustlers Scalli is false.. The true pedigree should read Hell's Jock's CH.Bash x Tanya since Scalli was litter sister to Nathan, Sheera and Big Freddie, also there was never any female known as Scotsman's Beauty, the alleged owner of Beauty confirmed that much.

Nathan was a talented black brindle dog with bad intentions like his sire.. He was open to everyone in the north with no takers, a real shame, but the government introduced the Dangerous Dogs Act and 1000 UK dogmen quit on the same day:-?
