Can't remember ever seeing that pedigree before so thanks bud! Think that would have been an interesting cross! I owned a son of Jacko, called 'Jackson'.. Never had his sire's talent, only the same evil, man hating streak, but lord was he game.. After Jacko died I gave Jackson to Jacko's owner who was known for enjoying a drink, problem was Jackson never liked drunks and bit him on more than one occasion, I must have gave that dog away a dozen times and got him back again, photo below is Jackson.. Wish I had him today! Jackson.JPG

Thanks for the insight DISCOIII.. Makes sense really since none of the Wise/Reid dogs I saw were manbiters, but it showed a few times in the Kingfish crosses.. I heard Reid's Rangitang was a manbiter, produced the same and was culled from Ed Reid's breeding program because of that trait.. Champion Jacko was straight 666 evil and never before - or since - have I seen a dog finish one as quick and methodical as he did.. When I picked up his son (Jackson,) his 280lb owner hid behind a shed door while I took the dog off the chain.. He was great with me and my daughter, but fair to say the manbiting trait ran in the family..

There was only 2 in litter, I took Jackson when his original owner (CP) went to prison and my good friend bought his litter sister (Lady.) We intended breeding Lady to Champion Curstopper, just never got around to it.. Lady was a very game female, grandmother to Sleeper Cell's Xara 2xw and great grandmother of CH.Lola.. I can't remember much on Jacko's other offspring, but Yarrakin Kennels owned a brindle male (1x or 2xw) called 'Stitch Mahone' that was a good dog, but unreliable around people.. Yarrakin wouldn't tolerated human aggressive dogs and you can probably guess the rest. ( 2 pics below is Jackson)

When Yarrakin lad came out of prison he fetched Champion Curstopper back home and began looking for new dogs to build his yard, I knew people who were letting dogs go at that time.. Yarrakin went to pick up 2 males that were litter brothers to the Zack dog who produced Xara 2xw.. Those 2 males were Marvin and Maverick, they were raised together and the owner wanted them to remain that way.. Yarrakin took Maverick and promised to return a few days later for Marvin, which he never did.. The whole litter was game but Marvin and Zack shone a little brighter than the rest.. I liked Maverick a lot though.. True game dog! Photo below in his later years.

(Beg pardon for falling off the face of the earth the last few months. My craptacular mobile device finally suicided itself and I had to get a new device that doesn't crash every two days. 8-|)

All of the above photos and paintings are awesome. My only dilemma is that I am uncertain which color/s to paint the black dogs (Fritz, Bullyson, et cetera): purple? Blue? There are several solid black and partially black dogs whom I want to paint but as of yet I have no idea how to make them glow in the dark.

Here are a few sketches of some Ch and ROM dogs. I want to be certain of the color of each dog before I try to paint them. My guesses based on the photos, correct me if I err:

    Ch Jeep: yellow, black mask
    Ch Butkus: solid red
Gr Ch Mayday ROM: red, black mask?
    Ch Honeybunch ROM: yellow
    Tombstone ROM: solid red
Gr Ch Buck: red, white points?
Gr Ch Sandman: yellow, black mask?
    Snooty ROM: red, white trim

(Of course, the paintings won't have the watermark on them.) These are basically stencils, which after scanning can be resized. I am starting with 9 inch by 12 inch black enamel painted canvases. I paint the stencil and glue it to the canvas so the result will resemble a black light day-glo 1960s psychedelic poster.

I'll buy the buck one when done. And theres other "better" picture of butkus in the "pics some may not have seen" you'll have to trudge through the uk side tracking like on your thread here but they are there.

I haven't been able to find the thread. Can you repost the shots? I picked that particular shot of Butkus because it had the best resolution. These are the only other color shots of him I have positively pegged:
