Hammonds Patterdale

The American Badger only resides in relatively shallow earths from what i know, unlike our Badger that has vast Setts. And yes if you have a overly hard dog it will have a short career at best. A bayer that knows when to mix it is the best dog, for starters you will get more work and you won't be getting arrested for taking it for a walk in public.

 

The sire to mine is a very handy dog, he bays until broken through to and then knows when to mix it with it's foe. The dam though is full on, when dug to she's always in hold. Hopefully the pups make the grade.

 

Soze I Have a friend in Ohio that hunts with patterdales. He put one of his 11-12 lb patterdales down on a 20 lb Coon and those patterdales are some bad little dogs. I do not work with Terriers just a friend of mine.Like I said badass little dogs.

 

My buddy in Ohio told me he lost one or two too skunks in a hole Said if you could not dig quick enough to your dog the skunk spray will burn the inside of their lungs.
