Does anyone have measurements for the generic wooden breeding stands? I need to toss a couple together and I cant find the measurements anywhere.

    Thanks in advance

I'll see if I can find some more info then .the Randy one looks like it just needs to be screwed down .but I see what you mean if u have guests it's better for it to look good to outside observers

Out of curiosity what's your average size of dog cause looking at it. It's not much more then a bench with some collars and wooden one would not be adjustable but since your gonna build a few just move up a few inches in height for each one. I can only find the dimensions in centimeters 100 x 45 x 55 cm don't know how helpful it is

Holocaust, measure one of two of your dogs and you have the measurements you need. I have built one before and it was very easy.

I have found just screwing 2 screws into a 2" wide collar then screw it into the base of a hand rail works just as well.

I don't tie the ass end. One of the benefits of the stands over what I use is being able to adjust the females ass end higher in the air for a taller male. It's never really mattered for my own dogs but if you have short females and tall males i could see the stand being more useful. I don't have that issue though so the collar screwed to the banister works well for me.

When all else fails though or I have travel to a stud, I bring the stand.

It hardly gets used anymore. The collar trick works better for me and is less constrictive to the female so they tend to fight it less. I also use both ways to trim nails on my dogs that fight me on that.

I've thought about doing the same and using my knee or a bucket if they need a lift.

Seeing it actually work makes me think I'm not so crazy lol.

I'm going to take treez advice and measure a couple we have to get an "average" and build one for the crazy ones but will probably just take agk idea on the sensible ones.
