Fly traps

These little 5 dollar traps from Wal-Mart are fly catching machines.I tried some from other stores with Not much luck but these work.

 

Got a trick for skeeters? Had a wet year so they're eating us up.

 

I actually bought a bug zapper ,one you plug in.I paid 50 for it and it has a lure its like paste that you install on the bottom.So the lure and the bulb is supposed to attract them in to get zapped.With all that said I was still gett8ng bit last night so I'm still on the fence.Their is def some skeeters in there that it has killed but right now I wouldnt recommend it .I didn't research this product like I should have.Thier are s some good rappers out there.I would recommend the one that the QVC channel offers .I think its QVC channel.If you don't like that route I would try and do away with any standing water and I would poison my yard .I am anxious about a product called Round Up bug killer.Its same Round Up that makes weed killer.Couple options I would seriously try.

This is what it looks like.I'm prob gone wind up getting a better one.Like I said though its still early yet for me to give a review but it ain't getting every one around.

 

Thanks buddy. Things are a little jungle like here for privacy reasons. With it comes bugs I will definitely look into the QVC zappers.

 

Man now that I think about it I prob wouldn't use the round up to get rid of skeeters or depend on it primarily.I would like to see some more reviews.I would def use it for fleas and ticks.

 

We actually use flea and tick pills. They are tremendous!! Not a single flea or tick.

Go to the vet get the giant size, cut them into 3 equal pieces and you can dose 3 dogs. Not cheap but work better than any of the tricks and when all said and done that's what matters.

 

I have actually done this lol.You are right ,its expensive but a quick and sure fire way to get the fleas gone.Round up claims it kills over 100 insects and pest and claims it will kill for 3 months.I like a nice healthy lawn so I'm thinking more than just fleas and ticks.

Getting some nice runs and this is in a shady part of the yard.Grass doesn't like shade but still gett8ng some good runs

Not one bite from a skeeter so far.It was in the sunlight when I turned it on at like 4:30 p.m.....So I figured sun and the light bulbs heat it up that lure real good and I can smell it.

 

How big an area you keeping clear? I know they're rated by the 1/2 acre. I have 1 full acre I'm trying to keep in check.

 

Thermo cells are the real deal. Couldn’t turkey hunt without one. Night n day difference with em.

 

Awwww man my yard and woods behind me and a couple cow pastures .lol

 

I wish that grew here in OR.
