2012 GMC Sierra

    This guy retired from the Chevrolet dealership after 30 plus years. He never did anything other than Chevrolet transmissions. He joked he could name every part in every automatic Chevrolet transmission ever built, but would struggle changing his own oil. I laughed.

    He retired and works out of his own shop. No over head and no payroll. He can do them for the rock bottom price. And he stands behind his work.

    My son dogged the piss out of that truck and the transmission crapped the bed at 37 months. I was thinking just my luck.

    He replaced it for nothing. Solid guy.

    We damn near had to fight as I was hell bent on paying the guy something and he was hell bent on not having it.

    I tossed $200 on his desk and made a break for the truck. I'm a little over weight but he is like 70.

    I won.
