I return home yesterday and its broad daylight and here is a guy steppin off my porch with my chainsaw.I think thier is no way I'm seeing this.He doesn't hear me pull up and open my car door and don't close it or turn the engine off.He has his back towards me as he is easing down off my porch and I'm right there within arms length and he doesn't know I'm there. My gaurd dog is doing his job, he went all the way out of my dogs reach, he was on a tie out 25 ft.This guy had 6 inches to get past my dog and get on my porch without being bit.He did it and was about to make off with my chainsaw. But as brave as he was to try this , it wasn't his lucky day.

The best part of it all you caught him in the act and now the ass kicking begins.

Nothing worse than a scum bag thief. A guy works hard to get what he has and then a low life steals it.

Did you know the guy or was he a complete stranger? Do you think he targeted you or was he an opportunity type thief?

Well having dogs I am not lioely to call cops.So I give him some knots on his head .He never even swung back and I let him go.I know all his info though and my lady was a.witness to his acts.I lost my temper but I feel like he deserved a beating.

You taught him a lesson and maybe even did him a favor in the long run. Sooner or later he could get himself shot doing that shit.

Sounds like you took it easy on him. I would have used a different method considering you had a protection dog inches away. I would of let that fucker go to town after I was done and brought that thief within an inch of his life.

It makes a person think. My first reaction is to say, "knock some knots on his head and even knock some holes in his ass', until it hits home.

A kid my son played ball with, Little League football and later travel/showcase baseball, had a scholarship to wrestle in college and made one bad decision after another. He went to a party and while at the house he stole a pistol. Out on bond for more stealing. He got caught. n the confrontation he and his three friends jumped on the man that owned the house/gun. As they were beating him down he got his hand in his pocket and knocked a hole in one and two holes in another.

My first reaction was they got what they deserved. My second reaction was "man, what went wrong with that kid". and I feel for his Mom as she is a truly good person.

That lasts for a split second and then it is back to "Sometimes when you ask for something time and time again, you end up getting it".

I'm knocking on wood because we live in the woods. A person could spend 3/4's of the day loading my shit and I would not know til it was over or I stumbled upon him.

Bama got lucky. He was able to let out some aggression that builds as we age, LOL, and did not have to lose his property to boot.

    Lucky, real lucky,

And this one is along the lines of what could go wrong. My work is fenced in with a guard. And with that said we had several car break-ins and even a truck was stolen.

I was near our secondary gate one night and a guy called on the radio that someone was in the parking lot. I went running. He was at my truck. He started jogging toward the fence. I just about caught up with him and had him at a distance where when he went over the fence I was going to snatch him off. I had a plan.

A guy that works for me was bringing up the rear. As I started to reach for him my co-worker said, "He has my 9mm". I locked up the brakes and watched him jog across the road.

I tell every one my hard hat, steel toe boot and safety glasses did not match up with that 9.

Funny now. I like to shit in my pants when he gave the news.

Like I said, when someone asks, a lot of time they get it. LOL

Hopefully it is not the start of a crime spree. LOL

stuff like that can go wrong very easy , people out robbing are prepared for being caught and usually arm themselves , beating them can go wrong if you lose control and go too far , but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do lol
