Gr Ch Shady Lady v Anyone

I should rephrase that to dogs like shadey lady and queen of heart rarley have to show heart, but if they are stretched out for some reason such as tornado I would say they are a more complete bulldog being best of both ends...

The old question is can they take what they dish out, and most often the answer is no as they would be dead like thier oppenets...
But if they are stretched out in some other fashion and show gameness I would say they are complete but not a comparasence to one who never has too...
S&Ws grandchampion Badger would be an example of a dominating dog that after his carear his gameness was a question and was muzzled and tested with multiple dogs and passed with flying colors...
I would admire Shadey a bit more if she had seen the depthes and I understand why abraham wouldnt match into her with qoh as you probably wouldnt of had her or shadey to utilize in the brood pen...

Rosemary had a freakesh mouth and was deep game, what more could you ask for??? I agree she wasnt on shadey ladys level...


Plane... the daisy bitch seems fine indeed, but her resume is far from shadeys and there hvae been plenty of dogs in the states with records like daisys with a couple of fast wins... #2 and #4 she was done in twenty but took fourty, in those twenty extra mins shadey lady could have won two more matches...
#5 is impresive battle thats sounds like two greats neutrilized eachother for an hour and it was battle of perserverance, probably what would happen when two greats meet...never the less a good read, how was the alka bitch bred and was she game???Thanks for the read...

I just want to say that Daisy was monster ace. She had all the characteristics of a superior fighter on a large scale.




As for her record, her owner never chose opponents, several matches was
canceled and down payments were given to her owner.

Those that know history know the Rebel conditioned Tornado for some of her shows.

Those that know history know the Rebel at one tiime was part owner of Tornado.

I'm sure Rebel could have received offspring off Tornado if he wanted but he didn't and that statement alone speaks volumes. Queen's owner had enough paper to cover any amount the Rebel would have thrown out there for the Shady/Queen match. STP was still active and they had no problem showing a dog vs the Rebel.

Shady Lady killed match dogs in the box in minutes. Thoses that know it's extremely hard to kill match dogs let alone do it in under 10 minutes is unbelievable. Shady is just one example of the many big time match dogs on the Rebels yard. Thumb thru some mid 80's Journals and count on the average how many matches a year he averaged for almost a decade. Check out his stud ad in the Journal and nobody in documented history has ever had 4 Champion ROM studs at the same time. The fifth stud in the ad was Champion Sandman 5xw 1xl.

Getting back to Shady Lady she was Mike Tyson in his prime. Dogmen didn't want anything to do with Shady Lady in her prime. Shady Lady was just one of many great dogs that was on the Rebels yard.

He did shape SPike dog and YES JIMMY WIMBERLY WAS THE GREATEST. Growing up not looking at him this way but hearing people talk with so much respect for a man that DId so many amazing things ..

The rebel was a cur that folded under pressure yet the silver fox was a crafty dogman till his death that impacted all dogs of today,,,
the rebel is far cry from carvers calibre breeder and signifigance,,, hell the professional peddler Pat Patricks bred better bulldogs than the cur rebel
and STP shaped bUck better to boot so the rebel might be legend in the south but his a cur in the rest of the world...

I dont know much but do know Mayfield held JW in a very high standard,,,

Yes the Rebel used Carver dogs and yes Carver had more of an influence as far as longevity is concerned. Now every protege of Carver's you listed Pistol fell way short of what the Rebel accomplished! BTW what was Irish Jerry who you mentioned was recently convicted of? Should you not have listed him in Carver's protege list because of his moral compass?

Pistol you did mention Carver correct? Are we talking about the multiple killer Carver? Are we talking about the same Carver who ran multiple whorehouses? Are we talking about the same Carver who preferred choice of sexual partners were underage boys? Should Carver be discounted or discredited for everything he accomplished in the dogs because of his moral compass?

Documented history in the SDJ (during SDJ prime years) NOBODY compiled a better win/loss record than the Rebel...NOBODY!

NOBODY who has ever walked this earth at one time on their yards had more accomplished dogs than the Rebel in his prime!

NOBODY in history has ever advertised a stud list as impressive as the Rebels!

NOBODY in history at one time owned/conditioned over a 1/10th of all the documented SDJ Grand champions at one time!

NOBODY in history took other breeders culls, condition them, champion or grand champion them, breed them and make more champions from the offspring!

Pat Patrick fails way short of what the Rebel accomplished as a dogma/breeder! The Rebel had more champions in a shorter period of time and bred more than one grand champion!

This what we do know...in documented history NOBODY had a better win/loss record!

NOBODY is history bred/conditioned/handled more winners, champions, grand champions or rom dogs than the Rebel!

As a Dogman the Rebel was an ace, but as a Man he was a cur. We all know curs can produce, but no matter how great a producer they may be, it still doesn't change the fact that they themselves are curs. All depends on how you want to judge him, Man r Dogman.
As far as the records of the females being talked about, to me is a matter of quality are quantity. Quantity would easily be Tornado but quality goes with The Queen. All 8 of her opponents were either Champions are goin for Championship. Her resume exceeds all others mentioned.

The Rebel could have bought offspring from Queen but the owner of Queen wanted offspring off Shady Lady!
