Very wrong, Mexican Style is no where near slow..JCC.. ODH.heck even pac .. brutally fast & destructive, some whites maybe slower, but most hit harder.. GGG the light skined mex..lol.. not a black boxer in mw division who will beat him, no race for that matter. .. Now to address the genetics, , well sad fact points to slave days, selective breeding. . Answer to all...

There are exceptions to the rule like triple G and Christian MCcaffery in the NFL.Some white fighters and Mexican fighters are quick but most dont possess the speed of black fighters overall, fighters like floyd,Mosley,Whitaker....There is some truth to stereo types lol

There was a time I got into a mix with Sweet Pea and nearly ended his career mid stream.

I lived in the Norfolk area in the late 80's early 90's. I worked out at a gym and for three or four weeks this guy would come in from a run, hit the exercise bike, then the rowing machine and out the door for another run. He had a big hooded sweat shirt "Sweet Pea". I said, Frikkin' wannabe.

One night he runs in does his little routine and hopped on the flat bench. He said, "Hey Big man, can I get a spot?" When this wannabe laid back it was the real Sweet Pea Whittaker. I damn near dropped 155 on his head when I realized it was really him. Damn near gave him a KO.

The fastest human I ever saw in real life was a black female. We were at P.E. One day on the football field and racing from the 50 yard line to the end zone.Oh and I was no threat to win a race lol I wasn't the fastest kid in the class..Well we line up on the 50 ,2 black guys that ran a 4.3 something fourty yard dash and this black female just blazes everybody and even created distance.Totally amazed, she had no form at all and never played any sports, back then wasn't many sports for females .We talkin early 80s ,I started thinking years later if she had been at a school were they had a track team with a good coach ,she would have been dangerous. No we didn't have a track team and they still don't have one lol.sad but true.

Fastest guy I ever seen is a local legend. He was slated to run the 100M and 200M in either '68 or '72. He clocked the fastest times in the world during those times. Dope and booze ended his career. Turned into the town drunk. But...

At every high school football game he would race at half time. He was in street shoes or busted up sneakers. There was a kid here who was #1 in the state at the 110M hurdles. Bobby Murray starts on the back line of the end zone. Spots the #1 kid in the state to the 30YD line. A forty yard spot and passed him as they went into the end zone on the other end of the field and beat him to the back line. Backed up and did it again. It became as big a part of half time as the band.

Rumors have always said he was running 10.1 and 10.2 in the 60's. He was a blur.

True freshman Jonah Williams is going to be the starting right tackle for Alabama.Take into consideration the talent level at Bama right now. This kid is a true freshman , California kid to.The starting QB could also be a California kid, this remains to be seen.Blake Barnett is his name and he is a redshirt freshman. So potentially 2 of Alabama starters on offense could be 2 Cali kids.I am impressed with what Jonah Williams has done, true freshman and this early into fall camp and already tabbed a starter.Pretty impressive.

Especially at Alabama. Both lines are always so deep. It is not like there was a void and a freshmen would be the only option. There are at least two guys he beat out for that spot.

Not that I am drinking the roll tide Kool-Aid, LOL, but I would think it is a bigger deal to start as a freshman linemen than a freshman QB. I am not sure that would be true at any other program.

Their recruiting is the best every year. Even when they don't get the TOP CLASS award they still get 99% of every kid they go after. It is enough separation between them and everyone else they can shoot their wad on every kid they really want, without a real back up plan.

Saban will go down as one of the greatest college coaches ever, if not the greatest. His recruiting is better than that. And I swear I have not drank the Kool-Aid. LOL.

Dabo and the Tigers usually start slow and finish strong. I am not sure if Auburn an get it done. But as soon as I make a pick on a game like that it goes the other way. If I ever make a pick on here, bet the other way and you will make a pretty good living.LOL

The last year or so North Carolina has shown they can score on anybody in the nation, pretty much anytime they want. In their last three games they gave up 12 or 1300 yards rushing. And a huge chunk of that was to Baylor who did not have a QB to play. All RB's on the field and they could not stop what they new was coming. And the first test is Chubbs who was the best back in college last year for a long time. That new SEC defense in NC will get a real test on opening night.

But KUDOS to all 4 for scheduling college games on opening day. I understand the small schools mak a chunk of money getting drubbed on opening daybut it usually hurts big school late in the year on strength of schedule. Alabama and USC as well.

So many good teams it will be a fight at the end of the year when choosing the 1 loss teams that will be in the play off.

What time will the brisket be done? I have to make travel plans. LOL

Go Houston as well. I was shocked by the recruiting distance piece. They are not leaving the Houston area, much less the state of Texas. That speaks volumes to the high school foot ball in the Houston area.
