Traits of linebred/inbred ch. El negro stock??

Curious about how Garner's Ch. El Negro offspring differ from some of the other stuff T.G is breeding? I've heard and read that an El Negro animal sticks out on T.G's yard because of how different they look and act.

That said the only Frisco blood I've run or had personal experience with is the Garner's Traveler blood (exception being an 11 month old El Negro/Cardenas/Elmo cross), and I'm curious as to how the linebred/inbred El Negro stock act in comparison to some of the other heavier Frisco blood. I'm not looking for anyone to incriminate themselves or anyone else either. I'm more interested in traits like prey drive, strength, and intelligence then incriminating stories.

I've already searched this site and others for more information on El Negro and the types of dogs he threw, but most of the answers are fairly generic with responses like "Those who need to know know" or "He was an honest dog" and these are fine, but I'd like to hear more about the types of animals he threw when inbred or linebred. Another answer I hear is "He throws animals that are like he was" and that'd be great information except I never had the honor of seeing the animal.

Again I'm not asking for war stories or anything that could incriminate anyone, I'm simply curious about the traits of linebred/inbred El Negro stock.

    Thanks in advance,
    A1

So I'll assume either none of the 95 people who have viewed this thread so far are knowledgeable enough to respond, or the ones who are don't care to?

Sounds about right. Talk to someone you know that runs it, if you don't know anybody personally to tell you good luck asking a bunch of strangers. Also you should consider that no one can answer that for you because each dog will vary to some degree and the only sure fire way to know is get one and give it time to mature

Why don't you call the man behind the blood and ask him yourself? Who better to ask? He's not hiding at all.

Right, I got a buddy that doesn't even run His dogs and TG still takes the time out to email and call him back about stuff I would think that he would ignore. So I'm sure if you wanted to know about one of his dogs he'd take the time to talk

Yeah I understand what you're saying, but T.G is like a used car salesman. And who better to ask? Someone who has nothing to gain from blowing smoke. No pun intended. Lol

Thanks for the advice bro. I know a guy that runs some El Negro crossed, but he doesn't have any experience with it inbred or heavy linebred either. And I completely understand the statement about asking strangers (That's why I'm not asking about anything incriminating simply physical/mental traits). I might have had better luck posting on this site had I not lost the password to my other handle. Oh well maybe someone in a sharing mood will come along and shed some light for me.

The ones I have had down from the the El Negro stuff have had alot of mouth, very rough, durable, game, and intense. Compared to the other Chinaman/Frisco stuff I have feed they stack up the same in every department except athleticism. The ones I have fed have been heavily line bred so that could factor in as well. They are intelligent and finish strong. This is my experience with a very small percent of the blood. The individual dogs, where they came from, who they are line bred on, etc can also factor in to what they bring to the table.

Old thread but figured I'd throw my 2 cents in.

asking a general opinion on this site is not a bad thing by any means,,,
asking garner would almost as good as asking maurice or a magic eightball,,,
to ask a man that made a carrer out of answering your questions right,,,
its for sale,,, their great etc...

I know nothing about el negro besides he is a great looking specimen that resembles old chinaman himself,,,
besides having frisco in there twice,,, chinaman dominates the pedigree with solid names close such as
    maverick,,, bolero and chinarose...

In tom garner fasion,,, el negro was bred alot and produced accordingly,,,
if you like the chinaman blood,,, the el negro line would seem ideal...

What is the difference in the el negro dogs and the other frisco dogs???

Elias..One of the yards in my lil camp runs mainly chinaman/Frisco and heavy Eli stuff. Mainly Earl, El negro, Elmo, Dynamite, Ceasar and Roscoe. The heavier Earl and El negro dogs I have seen seem slower and less athletic overall compared to some of the other ones I named above. What they lack in atheletisism they make up for in durability, "crunch", and finish. Some of the stuff heavier on the Bolio type breedings (Frisco x Lee Ling) are super athletic and fast in more than one aspect. I like the El nego stuff. They are not pretty but they get the job done..some times looking clumbsy..but remind me of a bruiser trying to just lay one hand on a dancing opponent. One they get hold of a hog it's finished more often then not.

Don't know anyone elses experience tho.

I am interested in knowing more about some of that king stuff from the other thread.

That one female is the only one we have bred down from that stuff. I think the fella my partner got that gyp from is RIP.

You seem to be real familiar with that buckshot dog and the buckshot/wildside type stuff.

I know it's off topic lol

I've got this bitch The Pit Bull Bible Online APBT Database -

The interesting thing about El Negro is he doesn't throw the traits his family is typically known for, didn't really fight like a typical frisco dog either. I've heard that he might actually be more of Little Gator breeding.
