I ordered two collars and some hide, they were out of hide but sent me a nice scrap(for free) to hold me over which was awesome! Took less than a week to get my stuff and it looks and feels awesome, the collars seem like they will be very durable several layers and the stitching looks very good and solid as well. Oh and the price for what I got seemed more than reasonable. Thanks guys

Anyone have any feedback between the buffalo hide vs. the cowhide? My pup is now 18 months old and he wears the cowhides out fast, especially the thinner ones.
What is the difference in thickness and durability?

LOL, I'll explain........these two dogs spend a lot of time indoors with me now that I live alone, obviously they are separated. AND.....these particular chainspots are on the "nice" part of my property, where I do most of my yard work and generally dick around. I'm pretty much a city dweller, so got to keep up on my yard or neighborhood code gets involved.....such a joke. So everyone's happy, I guess. Working the yard also seems to be therapeutic for me.......never a bad thing the older I get

 

Oh ok I just needed to know if you had found a way to do that! That's only thing I don't like it kills the lawn dragging that chain around everyday

Can anyone share their experiences with the buffalo vs. cowhide? is it worth the extra price?

 

I always opt for the cow, I'm just taking an educated Geuss but the difference in price prob has more to do with the price of buffalo vs cow. I know we sell buffalo burgers and per pound it's about twice the price of ground brisket and chuck
