    Hi Guys,

ive noticed ones of my bitches kennels is stinking due to her urine. With alittle research I have found it can clear on its own but more often the vet will prescribe an antibiotic to clear it.

Is there anything you can feed / supplement with to cure it / prevent it?

    Cheers,

    Cms

ACV.....apple cider vinegar. I get the Bragg brand because it is the best. I give more than half a teaspoon to my dog......more like a teaspoon and a half a day. It is not pleasant tasting to the dog, so put it her water dish or administer it directly into her mouth.....but be sure to dilute it with water when giving it to him. I give it to my dogs via a syringe.....a larger syringe LOL I got at the vet. Then I follow it with a few syringe fulls of water to dilute it and get the bad taste out of their mouth.

Read this, and google ACV for more info.

I have never known urine to smell good LMAO

A slight UTI like you said can clear up on its own if the dog is healthy with no underlying problems.

For me I take Cranberry supplements which can also be given to the dogs to help minor UTI.

I also agree with Louis Cypher (in which I dont often LOL) that a dog will need plenty of water to help with the UTI and also ACV could help as well you can use both ACV and Cranberry supps. Give on in the morning and one late afternoon.
