    Rest in Peace Ozzie! My condolences go out to his loved ones and family. Our last conversation was a week ago...he was a great mentor and friend to me and my partner the last 4 years...he'll be missed but never forgotten.

    Hate to hear that. How long ago did happen? Last time I talked in person with James and J.D. was about 9 years ago. J.D. was in a wheel chair then.

    Not sure on JD. I read what I think was Creel's obit. and if I remember right, it was from early January. Yes, JD was in a wheelchair when I saw him the night he brought his little Screws dog to meet the 35 dog. That was some years ago.

    I don't believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting Creel. He may have been at a Texas/Oklahoma gig years ago, but if so, I never formally met him or even knew if he was there, too. I think PMD in Texas may know him, and I'll check with him to see if he knows any details. If so, I'll get them posted.

    Seems the turnstiles of eras keeps rolling over. It's a sad natural order.

    TDK, James was a mild manner sort of guy. He never was thick build. He was a bit more frail, thin.
    I was surprised and honored when so many of them ask to take pictures with me.
    Maybe because of my years in TX. and the dogmen I was friends with.
    Had a great time. I'll be headed back down and around that area after the summer. I talked to Floyd and he invited me to stop by again so I could have a lot fun again there. lol
    I know Carmen ask me to take him along the next time I go.
    I think I better this year before any more pass. Floyd will be 80 and Jack Kelly will be 90 in a couple of months.

    I hadn't realized those ol boys had reached the age they are so fast, as it seems. Yeah. It sounds like a good idea to drop in on both of them. Wow, Jack @ 90. Seems unbelievable, doesn't it?
    I don't know Floyd well, but for a brief speak or two at a show in LA. But please tell Jack I said HELLO if you don't mind. Have a good time. I know you will.

    Been awhile since I seen Jerome. The last time we spoke there Bert Sorrels, Jerome, Jim Wimberly and myself speaking with each other. Bert wanted a picture of us all together. Someone took a picture and sent it to me and I sent a copy down to Bert. He claimed he was putting together a book.
    If fact I saw it last night when I was showing some pics to a friend my mine from GA.

    jimmy was there to it was a good time . it's getting to where you won't be seeing the old timers to much longer because they're real old . bebo was the oldest in seen having fun he was 98 and 2 years before we were having fun .
