Hey guys first pit. Im looking for suggestions to build drive...he has pretty good ball drive. He is teething so interested in tugging but I can tell his mouth is sore. How about a spring pole? Any suggestions I would appreciate.

He shouldn't be teething at 18 months.

Michael Ellis is a great trainer. I couldn't find much online for free.

Do you mean 18 weeks? As far as drive, dogs either have it or they don't. They are who they are.

Sorry yes 18 weeks. He will chase, his mouth is a little soft. Sometimes he will grip nice sometimes not so much. All back mouth middle teeth are coming in. He is missing 1 canine.

Idk why, but he would rather bite me lol literally and my pants and shirts etc. He has prey drive. Im not crazy about his grip. Wondering if a spring pole will help.

.....wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...........drive in a dog comes natural....and give him a tip across the nose when he starts biteing you even when playing,,,,cause if he starts this with a kid or a stranger who could be afraid of dogs.....you+dog will end in big trouble........if he is only getting his teeth in put a rag on some twine/rope and let him chase +pull on that....
