above ground kennels

    Anybody use the above ground kennel setup with their dogs....like the kind they use for hunting dogs...Im moving to inner city..i currently got one dog...well my presa is my hosue dog ..and of course cant keep them together..i planned on building above ground spacious kennel for my bulldog outside in back the house with side shelter...of course he will get weekly walks,,,what do u guys think...

    If your just housing one dog, buy a kennel run instead. Above ground pens work well for pups, bitches in heat, dog-in- keep or sick/injured dogs. I would never have it as a permanent housing option for any dog. Living its life on just a few square ft.

    Personally, I don't see a difference between above ground or on the ground. A kennel is a kennel. I keep my pups in above ground kennels with expanded metal flooring for ease of cleaning.

    fuck no...lol, dont get me wrong its theyre property, i aint feeding em so i can care less...... but my dogs walk a mile a day ATLEAST every other day if not everyday........im a weirdo when it comes to that shit.... lol, i wont walk any unless i can walk them all.....

    Use the kennel setup Mountain Man used...pretty much a regular chain link kennel on a raised deck.

    Has anyone seen the "underground" dog houses? Google it if not. I would like to try one one day. They seem like a great idea. I like the raised type that you all have shown also. Bushwick - that is a hell of a pup pen you built. nice job!
