My lil man of only 5 months has been diagnosed with elbow dypslasia and I don't know what to do...I bought him as companion and to have a dog I could work out and pull weights....Has anyone here had a pit with elbow dypslasia if so how was it for you?

With hip dysplasia, if a dog doesn't have it very severely, then light weight pull to build up muscle tone can be good. The muscles can help hold the joint in place. I have no experience w/pulling and elbow dysplasia. Elbow dysplasia is graded based on severity. I don't know if 5 months is too young to do this. No matter what, I'd keep him as lean as possible, so his joints don't need to work any harder than they have to. I'd avoid him pounding around on hard surfaces like pavement, too.
