I was doing some bulldog research and came across these two lines I heard of them but don't find too many kennels running this blood I think It was steel ridge kennels running this blood any of you worked with any of this blood or own any seems like some good stuff.

Big Sam lived near here for a while. He and my wife worked at the same place. He had a large breed mastiff and we did too. They compared pictures and we met each other thru them. He had Noseringer, some really nice Jeep bred dogs and several Homer bred dogs. I believe he is living in the northeast now and I am not sure if he is in the dogs or not, we lost contact.
The Noseringer stuff we saw mixed well within the family and there were several good ones. His Jeep and Homer stuff was getting it done and (personally) I think the Noseringer stuff was not bred as much as it should have been. Several of the good ones ended up in the hands of people selling puppies and in turn the Noseringer reputation takes a hit when those peddled dogs end up not working out.
Big Sam left some of the heavier Noseringer stuff with a young guy near here and then I think the guy took a state sponsored field trip for a few years for his transgressions. I can check it out later in the week. S

That's funny because I rode down the road to Sam's two yrs ago to buy collars and he was living in the same trailer he had lived for the past 13 yrs that I have known him in NC . I remember when he had nothing but Budweiser Crusher hounds. Noseringer himself was a pretty decent dog but, sadly never really produced what he was except maybe one or two that were crossed into the Shealy stuff. Noseringer produced several show and pull hounds that did pretty well but, that's about it.

Steel Ridge is a good girl and has some very nice hounds. She works hard with hers and has done very well with the cross in the show ring.

Mt. Man's Smokey would have to actually produce some winners before he can be given the status of ROM. That's not just given to a hound because one person thinks they like the way it sounds. Smokey was a cur and produced very little worth wild. When Lester and Cole let all of those dogs go...you never heard anything else about Smokey...you know why?...Cause he was a cur and he produced curs!

Some of us know how things went on, on the Mountain and some of you people imagine things. Many ppl can vouch for that, that's why none of the real doggers have anything off Smokey..Where are Smokey's 3 Champions?...Legit ones that can be vouched for. OTC's don't count and neither does back yard boogies..

You puppy peddlers and uneducated breeders give out these fake titles to unworthy hounds for promotion.
    That's all I got to say....lol

BIg Sam moved to Delaware a few years back. I kept a really nice Homer bred bitch here while he moved. He was back and forth. The last time I went there the grass was high and the double wide was not being lived in. His month of keeping the dog turned into six months. She was box ready when he picked her up, on a van loaded down heading to Delaware. Another buddy of mine lives right down the road from where Sam lived. I have not talked to him in a couple of years. The last time he called it was from a northeastern area code. But it is not like I checked into his whereabouts yesterday. S

I dont run the blood but I saw 2 go and they were good. I heard he was ROM from the man himself if thats false then that makea him a liar I guess.
I dont run the blood but I know some serious doggers that do
And have honest dogs. I guess your opinion is different then mine and thats cool.
