Beautiful pups! :dogtongue: I never bred my Ikaika because I never got the papers. I wish I had. His breeder left town because he was wanted for dog fighting. So he dropped my five wk old infant pup off and bolted. I learned after the fact that he was Heavy Midnight Cowboy/Eli. I used to get offers from people who knew his breeder and knew what his pedigree was because they had seen both of his parents peds. I would not breed him with out peds and I was worried these people were trying to breed fighting dogs anyway. How would I be able to acquire his peds? I have had him neutered but I would like to have it still. Any help is greatly appreciated. :dogkiss:

 

If you know the bloodline, already cut his nuts off, are never gonna use the dog. Why would you want his ped?

 

I suppose you are right. I should have waited on neutering and joined this forum earlier on. It would just be nice to see it. Next APBT I get will definitely come with peds. :dogkiss:

And this is just my two cents about pedigrees and breeding. I've had hounds before that I didn't have papers on that I still bred. I did it because I knew what was behind them, and they had proven theirselves worthy of being bred. The dog makes the pedigree not the other way around. Everybody has their own opinion of what, who, how, and why a breeding should be done. IMO it doesn't matter what the papers say, how many confirmation winners, how many weight pull titles, agility titles, whatever else, if they haven't had their oil checked before being bred, your breeding shit dogs no diff than any BYB or anybody with rednose gatormouf dogs!! And that's just plain and simple

Treez and Cajun I would never breed a dog without peds and I think you need to read what I wrote in plain English. I was referring to the fact that if I could have acquired the peds I may have bred Ikaika because I have been impressed with the Eli bloodline. I have had two other APBT before with Colby peds and did not breed them either because of the serious overpopulation of and bans on APBT in the US but then what does anyone but you know? I was beginning to think I was dealing with educated people. I love the breed and my father from Long Island before me loved the breed. He always had Colby's WITH PEDS THAT HE BRED in Hawaii! We had pups once a year. I would love to breed and raise APBT pups myself and just bought a property so I might when I get dogs WITH PEDS. I grew up around the breed and I know how to train and breed them as well. I grew up breeding and training Arabian horses as well. I joined this site to communicate with other breed loyalists and not get bashed in the process. I was hoping there may have been some seriously great breeders on here that I might have been able to acquire a sound dog from. So before you start with your harsh words...think! Your making your site look bad!

 

Well read what I said and you'll see I said whether or not you have papers if the oil ain't been checked they ain't worth breeding. I know thousands of people with dogs with PEDs that ain't worth a shit

It may sound harsh but from the posts I've read from you there is no way in hell you should be breeding these dogs. The world has plenty of garbage in it already no need to add to it... There is nothing wrong with just being a pet owner and leaving it at that.
