"how do you go about buying from the factory" look at the back of your food bag & call customer service. or go to there website & shoot them a Email. back in 04ish we used a local feed store & worked out a discount price by the pallot. something like 27 bucks x each bag 29lb was like 45% off retail price. they had a vender account & i basically just used there's so it worked out good for all party's.

  2. $32 dollars (8ILBS bag of dog food- Merrick, canned food, some raw organs/chicken legs, and treats) every 2 months. I have a little Rat Terrier (type b) and she doesn't eat much food. I may or may not add another dog anytime soon, as I only have one.

I feed 4 dogs between $45-$75 dollars a month. The price varies depending on the choice of meat for the week, during the hunting season I usually don't pay for meat so I spend even less during the winter.

3 dogs in NYC - 3 bags of castor and pollox organix 30lb bag - $180
    Various chicken parts - $40
    Ground turkey/ chopped meat $20

So about 225-250 a month depending....

Most likely my biggest problem is location. Lol

I go thru around 350 lbs of dog food a week. Cant break it down in price per dog cause it depends on how many pups, prospects, and dogs in keep i have. My brood bitches usually get diamond maintenance unless carrying a litter. pups get diamond puppy. prospects get a good quality sporting formula and dogs in keep.. well thats top secret lol.

    4 dogs- 2 30# bags TOTW
1 dog- 50# bag Diamond Hi-energy (lasts about 6 weeks)
And 250# of scratch feed for the fowl

    Im in for about $250

  12. 3 dogs, raw fed $100 per month if I'm buying meat and that's chicken, turkey, beef heart, pork, rabbit, fish and goat. I like variety.
Winter time maybe $20 a month because it's mostly free venison, cost is my license/bullets for what we hunted, get a lot more off other hunters and processors for nothing.

Yea, I've always said, if I was to fully switch to raw I have to be able to prepare a months worth of meals for all the dogs at one time. It has to be cost effective too. Otherwise, I can't justify switching if I can't get the cost to be less than kibble since it takes me some time to prepare and feed all the dogs daily when feeding raw. There just isn't enough hours in the day.

i think a good quality meat/bone grinder would help along with a big deep freezer! lol

yea, if you get lucky with game meat then it becomes pretty resonable also (all I have had to buy in the last like 3 months has been bone in meats like chicken leg quarters and pork necks) but if you are not then it can get up there fast, then on top of that you need a place to thaw the meat if just enough to get out of the package you froze it in and if you have say 5 dogs that can take up some space

  19. One dog i get for her 1 bag of orijen puppy 80 euros for 13.5 kg
    some bones for 3 euros
some toys for about 5-7 euros per month
and the homemade biscuits 3 euros.

for those buying there rice at walmart or something, go to an oriental store. locate one nearest you. they sell 50 lb bags of rice for under $30.00................. that will cut your cost down greatly in the long run
