    Hi Guys,

As you can see my little dog is coming along nicely but i was wondering how to train his Latissimus Dorsi(muscle on the side of the ribs) since i have a show coming up.
Normally during winter got my dogs a bit fatter.
Or is it just a waiting game and genetics till this one shows?

    Thanks in advance

some dogs naturally have it, some have to work hard. its also referred to as a "windline". Theres one that will form in middle of ribs, one on the bottom coming from rear. A dog gets it from running, a lot of walking, dragging light weight, sprints with light weight, flirtpole, springpole. Im sure someone will have a better answer but you dog does seem to be in a bit of shape.

Thanks for the tips n info bro! I'm nog working hin that hard yet since he's 11 months today. But in going to prepare him a bit for some work later on.
Atm i'm handwalking him for an hour, then 5 mins flirt then 10 mins spring at home.
Want to start skating or cycling with him soon.

Playing fetch is always good, sometimes fetch on a hill side. but not too steep accidents can happen. Yah at 11 mos id be more or less just walking still. Enjoy him!

Yeah dont really have the facilitys to fetch. Many dogs even in the forests around town. So everythings gotta be on leash otherwise he will get into "some trouble". Everything i do with him is on leash....
Even for swimming i got him on a 15meter leash haha.

The fact that he's not a dog friendly one doesnt mean i enjoy him less, just no dog parks or off leash activities

  6. cant speak on the particular muscle but flirt pole does wonders for overall msucle town. By the way, where'd you get the harness

    Springpole will work that area.

El-perro are a bunch of hsus supporting AR Nuts plus their products are crap. I'd make a video of my burning that bs like the cleveland fans did LeBrons Jersey

Don't know about that, I just ordered a few collars and harness and till now very pleased about the product.
Sorry you had a bad experience with them.

I am however looking into some greenriver harness, any experiences with those?

    ah oke. Anyway.
Ive been working harley on the springpole a little more than usual and doing some inline skating with him.
Yesterday much more definition of the muscle and was surprised by his stamina. I think i just have to increase feed and run him a little more. Point is just since he's only 11 months dont wanna stress him too hard but then again dont wanna sell him short so can anyone help me with a basic schedule or should i just continue to watch as i go week by week like i'm doing now?

Regular walks are more than enough for a pup that young. If you live by an open field, letting him run around is very good for pups. Just keep a eye on him. Exercise and good feed is all you need.

You know me mike won't work him to hard but cant go easy on the boy or he WILL fuck with me.xD

I do live near alot of fields and a piece of forest but there's just too much happy hours (lots of dogs) in my neighborhood.

Can't afford to take the risk of him running around without a leash....

I build mine by running her every morning few kilometers a day since she was 6 months old. Now she's almost 2, run her on the weekends the shape and the muscles still maintain. Diet plays a role in it as well.
