the storm

is anyone here in the path of the storm that is coming to the northeast? what have you had to do to prepare for it? it sounds like its going to be a nasty one!

 

I hear that the people living near the water will get it the worse. I just had to secure everyone into basement kennels for now. I have essentials like flash lights, candles, bottled water, non-perishable food items and such. The ass kicker is that my generator is acting shaky lol.

 

I brought all dogs inside an put them in crates. Had to go to home depot an pick up some ply wood and 2x4. Had to build around the crates so they don't see each other. I don't want any accidents. They already closed schools for tomorrow. Good luck to all.

It sounds like those that have to are taking the necessary precautions, keep your eyes and ears open and take care, good time to check in on neighbors and stick together. My family and friends have made preparations and now the wait is on. Good fortune to all.

 

I totally appreciate the gracious condolences from everyone. I think that it's about to get a little more hectic in the next couple of hours. Winds are picking up, and the rain is pouring.

Staten islanders still waiting while drama Obama campaigns for 2nd term....... No change in sight.

Lip service seems to be the order of the day.

 

Would do you expect when you elect a bunch of liberal rejects to run your state. They turned electrical repair crews that drove up all the way from alabama to help out, just because they weren't unionized. Mayor dum-berg wanted to still hold the marathon (which starts in staten island) but backed out at the last minute cause of all the outrage. There still pulling bodies out of the rubble on staten island. I hope some of the libtards residing in these states have learned their lesson. I remember after katrina there were a shitload of national guard patrolling and helping out, i'm not seeing that after this storm?
