scratched eye....how to treat it?

My bull dog kye had a cat just jump out of nowhere and claw her in the face while i was walking her...it fckn got her in her eye...cat was gone before we even knew what happened! i have dealt w wounds elsewhere just not in her eye. Like any good bulldog she doesnt even flinch...its pretty swollen.

Question:

What can I do to treat her at home? Worried she got her good....

She let me clean it out w saline solution and let me do some "manzanilla drops" i think its called chamomille in english? learned that trick from an old dog men in Baja Cali...

Any suggestions?

 

good on you for cleaning the eye.
but you can"t be too careful where eyes are concerned. more so with a cat scratch. in the past when my dogs have scratched an eye i have taken them to the vet. they put some drops in the eye which shows up (bright green) the damage.
the ointment they give is cheap enough. but better to be safe than sorry.

 

yea i think i will have to bite the bullet...she looks much better after cleaning it out a bit. Rinsed it out about 5 times. Man this breed amazes me....no other dog would ever let you do this...thanks for the advice. I will taker her in.
