Some pics from today, in the park and near our neighbourhood. It's exactly 3 years since we picked him up at the breeder.

looking good...are staffords popular in Norway ?

Thanks, he is from show lines, but I try to do the best out of the dog I have, and luckily he has a lot of drive and loves to work ( mostly biking, spring pole, walking in the mountains) and is bit leggy for a show stafford (45cm) :) Yes, they are becoming to popular, and sadly most are show staffords that are very low to the ground and wide, still I think the average stafford here is as ruined as in many other countires, but it is not looking good, since there are few from working lines, and most people who owns them are only interested in show. Sadly most people who own them also know very little about their history and the breed in general :/ And if you try to critisize the show standard and the way they are breed, and tell them how wrong it is to only breed for show and looks, you get a lot of angry people on your hands :P

Lovely photos Preben. He looks a great little fella and Im sure he will give you hours of fun in and around the mountains. I have one here that is more along the show lines as well and yes, lacks in certain departments compared to my others but does not detract from being a great dog to have. good luck

Thanks :) Yes, I agree, a lot of them still has the potential to be great dogs full of drive, but still they probaly lacks a little compared performance breed lines like you said.

From a trip to Snøhetta 2286 meters over the sea, earlier this autumn. Me and him at the top. We saw 6 musk oxes, one moose and one reed deer on the way up.

I agree, always liked be out in nature. At the last picture, the mountain range actually has wolverines, lynx, rein deer, musk ox, moose, lemmings, sometimes wolves and bears, so it is always a chance of seeing those animals.

Great pic. Being outside in nature, is always nice, and the dogs loves it. Looks like a nice place, any wildlife for them to hunt?
