If you are going to tell a story, tell the whole truth. The past president of the Georgia club's husband plead guilty to dog fighting charges. Maybe that's why they were snooping. Besides, if you have something to hide, why on earth would you write down your real location anyway? Doesn't seem very smart to me.

The current Florida president shouldn't even be president. Since that club has started not one member has been asked for a vote. They've never had a club meeting. Then she releases everyone's info. Funny part is you won't see her info anywhere.

And the Gazette does not give out city and states owners reside in. If I post something about myself then guess what I gave permission. I posted it. But for someone who willingly gives info to the media WITHOUT the people's permission is completely wrong.

Call it what it is. A HUGE mistake on the part of the president. Does that make her a horrible person. No But do not make excuses. Or try to rationalize ir by saying well you post things on Facebook. Has nothing to do with it.

 

Well bad behavior and acting like an asshole over it is just as bad for this breed. It makes those in the APBT world look like white trash and puts everyone in a very negative spotlight. So yeah, that extreme little public outburst of profanity and name-calling in response to the president's mistake is very inappropriate, unprofessional, and uncalled for.

 

Oh Diva if you want to tell a story how about you get it straight? There was no pleas of dog fighting on anyone's behalf and the person she was referring to was the most recent President of the club prior to Beth taking over.

I never "attacked" anyone. However I do have a right to say how I feel about personal information being published without permission. Being that the ADBA does say they do not share personal and private info with 3rd parties and the media.

And it does not matter if mine was not. It could have easily been anyone. All it would have taken is a phone call and asked the people for permission.

 

Yes, you have spoken your feelings about it repetitively. We get the point. But what's done is done. The situation is being handled by those DIRECTLY involved. The matter should be and will be dealt with by the ADBA and involved parties, not you. End story. You and your bf need to act like a professional and let those involved handle it.

However I posted my feelings. And then people replied. I replied back. That is how forums work. Just as you have said it was ok that this was done. Maybe you do not care that people's info was posted. How would you feel if I posted your full name and city you live in.

My info was released to the Tourism Bureau. They sent out bulk mail flyers for the show. Was already uneasy about that. Now this.

I spend money with this club as well as the ADBA. And seing what was done when the ADBA says they value and protect our personal information was wrong. I have a right to feel uneasy about it. It could have been anyone. A letter of apology does not make up for releasing personal information.

While I understand how it happened. And I applaude the club for promoting the dogs in a positive light. They did an excellent job. But it was a huge lapse in judgement. And sadly can and will have reprocussions.

and Cynthia, I never said I didn't care about the information being sharred and I never said it was ok. In fact I agreed with you that it was a mistake. But it's not yours to deal with. It's for the people involved, the club, and the ADBA to straighten out.

I don't follow along with anything but myself and what I feel is right. I am not close personal friends with the president nor do I own any animals from her or that line period, Boogieman dogs are not my thing, so I have zero personal bias for my stance. I stated what I did soley on how it made me feel when I read what Crimson posted and have read your continual statements.

I said what I did because I believe that the inappropriate behavior casts a negative shadow on those involved with the APBT publically and makes us show people in particular look even worse. It's ridiculous and unecessary and does nothing to help anything.

But whatever, I've stated how I feel about the matter. That's that

And oh but it is my issue as well. My complete name and address was given out as well to the company that did the bulk mailing of thr flyers. The club was given a few thousand dollars to spend on advertising from the city. And now this. What else has been released to the city?

I have every damn right to be concerned of a club that hands over to a reporter personal info without permission because it asked. And then plastered all over the Internet. You lose faith in the clubs as well as the ADBA.

It is what it is. And at the end of the day all I can do is not support a club that does this. Easy as that.

Me and Mason. Mason just turned 6 months a couple of weeks ago.



Mason placed in all four 6-9 month male events he was entered in.







Sunday night, Mason was plumb tuckered out and fell asleep on the sofa. I tried not to rouse him as I placed the weekend's haul next to him, but he awoke to take hold of and taste one of his blues.



THEN ... Monday morning, he ate (I mean completely ate) about half of one of the Rave shower shoes that I was issued in Navy boot camp in 1986 ... along with getting into some trash and shredding a coke can while ingesting some aluminum.



Tuesday morning first thing, Mason threw up twice and it was off to the vet. The vet worked with Mason ALL day Tuesday ... over night ... and ALL day today to clear Mason's system without surgery and x-rays show that Mason is now debris free WOooHOoo !!!

$443.19 later this afternoon ... Mason is now home and resting. Dang pups :lol:
