Militia

this is Militia, i got her about two weeks ago. A little mischievous booger she is! We are keeping her brain busy though to get her out of acquiring bad habits from boredom. She is very active! already is interested in a spring pole and she's 12 weeks. We keep it low to the ground just to ensure her bones are able to grow safely. She is just so outgoing and has a lot of drive! We are setting up plans to start her obedience training.







I also participate in a forum called pitbull-chat, these two forums are alot alike! Is this a sister site???

yes the two forums are sister sites. this one is a bit harsher tho. not a lot of fluff and rainbows on this one like there is on PBC.

I have no idea on her family history, so i couldn't say. I did see her parents and they were blue. I adopted her.

What do you mean by harsher? as in if she isn't registered no one will care much? Or as in if i'm an irrisponsible owner ya'll will let me have an ear full?
I have no problem with either of those because I am a very responsible owner, and she is special to me, permanently registered in my heart, and that's all that matters. I am always open to informative advice, I don't take advice as criticism. I am here to share and learn as much as i can! Not interested in breeding her, she is a pet, and it is my goal to shape her into a great representation of what an APBT truly is, despite what the world paints them as. These sites are Militia and I's outlet to help us achieve that goal and expand our possibilities for her.

It's all preference, and i can understand wanting to be positive you are getting a good disposition, and a dog that is health checked BEFORE you acquire him/her. My preference (as with any dog owner)is being there for my pup from dusk til dawn 365 24/7. If there are health concerns, she will be taken care of, if there are problems with the history of her family, as to how they were raised, i will shape her out of it. It's all part of adopting, it's like picking out of a hat really. You never really know what you are going to encounter down the road.

papers are important to a breeder. There are gene recipes that come in handy. If you want a pet then papers are to poop on.Welcome to the board
