Weight & size

    Weight & size

    hi i have a uk staffy hes 14 months old today he weighs 53lbs but does not look like he does. he looks alot smaller than other uk staffies in pics i have seen who weigh less. so just wanted to know if you can get big boned dogs and also do you think he will grow anymore as hes only 14 months now. thanks

    from your vid the dog looks to be mid to high 30s.
    what is he 15-16 inch ?

    he's not one bit fat thats my point you can tell that by the video. dont no his height he wont stay still. as for the scales there are right i weigh 14 stone 6. pick him up i weigh 18 stone 3. and the same at the vets. thanks

    Is it a full stafford,

    Looks like he's carrying a bit too much timber, maybe a lab cross. Just an opinion.

    He looks like he loves his ball.

    Heres mine at 24 months....37lbs pretty close to ideal...not an ounce a fat...

    heres a couple of mine 32lbs 16 inches and 18 inch 36lbs. no fat.

    JOCK007 id say the dogs got an extra 10 lbs in his belly/waist at least. What do you feed him how often and what amounts ? how much exercise does he get ?

    Still think hes pure and probolly wont grow upwards anymore but will fill out more. again just my opinion.

    disagree with the 10lbs. i feed him twice a day he eats wet food butchers. i handwalk him 28 miles a week and he does about 15 sets of 100 meter flat out sprints 3 times a week. thanks

    You're feeding a bad food, the exercise is quite good tho.

    He could stand to lose a few lbs tho.

    Hey man if you are happy with the way your dog looks what difference does it make what other people think, as long as you keep him fit and healthy and take care of him that's all the counts.

    Just enjoy him mate.
