Guys as you know some of the best dogs out there are crosses between two lines or more, question is what in your mind is the best?

    For breeds like cottingham,Eli,crab,red boy,mayday,chinaman ect ect.:dogtongue:

    Eli x Bolio
    Redboy x Jocko
    Boilo x tombstone
    Jeep x rascal
    Boyle's x any solid line.

I guess you could go on and on with this one. There is no best line. All of them can produce curs and all of them can produce gamedogs. Its all a matter of opinion. I like Eli x Bolio x Tombstone the best but its just personal preference.

I think when its comes to breeding a good dog puttin good dogs together that compliment each more than the line of dog. That being said the list agk pout together a list of crosses that has produced over and over again.

Eli/boyles crosses have impressed me the most so far. Most recently boyles x rascal but boyles x maverick and boyles x midnight cowboy blends as well.

Also patrick/maloney, frisco/eli and rbj/boyles have produced some good dogs imo.

We always liked breeding proven dogs ... If your using solid dogs reguardless of bloodlines , you should be able to get several generations deep in your program ... These dogs were bred based on performance first and foremost , not conformation or color.

I agree, when you do a breeding you want to bring two dogs together that compliment each other, but lines like redboyXjeep produce great dogs when they bred mediocre dogs together. There are some lines out there that produce even if the dogs are not top knotch some things just click. It just get better

(Chinaman X Little Gator) is my favorite ad most current. But (Eli X Carver) or (Eli X Carver X Bolio) has proven to produce in the past like a mofo!

Here in Taiwan. They do the Eli/Bolio/Alligator. They call the blood Bulldozer blood and it works here.

Honestly the dog(s) should represent its bloodline... I like 3/4-1/4 or vise versa also 50/50, on proven producing dogs

Eli tends to work with most anything really. Kinda like Jeep adds a little flare to alot of lines. Cottingham are some intense dogs if you can even find it not so watered down these days. I'd use Cottingham with some Eli/Bolio and see what that turns out like. Bet damn fine dogs are produced.

Dogs should represent the man behind them. Not a bloodline. No 2 families from the same blood will be the same.
