    People breed whatever these days......dollars in sight, not a perfect dog. I agree it is sad. This is nothing new, but I also wish it would change. Sittin here watchin it get worse day by day. color, paper, money breeding at its best.

    just recently i gave a fellow a dog and he put papers on the dog and traded her to another guy

    I'm racking my brain on if i should tell him or not

    truth is i would give him the info for one of his heavy bolio pups cause i still have the bitches true papers but the deal is none of my business and i dont do snitching

    breed to whatever you want to breed because your the only one feeding them & it's your reputation that is affected by the choices you make. to be honest i'd breed to a cur if that cur produced bulldogs.

    Depends on what your definition of a cur is! To me cur= quitter, standing the line. History shows us that some of the best producers were curs, not ''cold'', but straight line standing quitting curs. For example Finley's Bo, he produced GREAT bred to a variety of females. So can anyone honestly say they wouldn't have bred to him?

    The same with breeding a bitch in her first heat, they all have the ability to produce and will do so regardless of age or proven ability.

    I wouldn't make a habit of it... but sometimes you just know your bloodline and genetics and something will pop out. Like Ben Brockton says... you can hope on the throwbacks for instance.

    bud i was joking about the throwbacks lol. i ain't about to feed a litter & hope to get the occasional good'n. if your looking for low % i'd suggests getting new dogs or just buy grown dogs. looking forward is much better then looking back & chasing dead dogs.

    9 out of 10 are curs papered as purebreds.

    A person can breed what ever they want realy cause most people are all about money,thats why most people worried bout the online ped I need to see the sire and dam with my own 2 eyes before i get a pup,but only way i breed a cur is cause i have faith in my blood and never know what his ability of a producer might be,but only for that reason cause i only feed bulldogs =) but hey thats just me.
